*DAILY DEW 30/MAY/2022* *COMMISSIONED* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *“Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be)."* (Matthew 28:19-20 (Amplified)) _Bible Insight:_ You see, my understanding of ministry makes it very hard for me to put musicians on such pedestals that makes them feel so entitled. Because you see, the person doing the most in the church is the SOUL WINNER. If you don't get this, you might need to read the whole of the gospels and Acts again. So, the major person Jesus is going to commend in the church is the SOUL WINNER. Take away his work, there will be no ministry! The soul winner is any Christian that has received training for the work of ministry. Do we pay those? If we don't pay people for winning souls, which is the major work in the church; the major work that makes the work of Jesus come to effect in the lives of men, then I can't be thinking of paying people for ushering, playing instrument, etc. Does that mean I don't value them? Oh, is money how we value people's service in church now? Who are they serving? Jesus? He values them! We value them too! And we value everyone serving the Lord freely in His house. The church is such that the keyboardist is grateful for the usher, not that he feels he is the engine driving the ministry and everyone else should be grateful that he's around. Poor mindset. This is why folks in church who are growing in the word should be the ones to rather learn to play one or two instruments. Such men don't feel entitled in the ministry. They know they've been blessed and their service is nothing but gratitude. I really don't get this talk about, 'So with the much work and effort and money I invested in my craft, I should be playing in church for free?' Who is this one really? Are you to serve the Lord with something that doesn't cost you at all? Some left their families, sold their houses, forfeited career opportunities to serve Jesus but you have invested too much in music to do it for the Lord freely? *DAILY DEW 29/MAY/2022* *COMMISSIONED* _Key Bible Text:_ *“Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things."* (Luke 24:45-48 (KJV) ) _Bible Insight:_ Did you ever feel that preaching the Gospel is only a pastor or an evangelist’s job? It is beautiful that God chooses to partner with each and every one of us who knows of Him as a savior. While we feel the need to evangelize, many often save it for those rare opportunities. However, it is important to recognize that we are on a mission wherever God has placed us and we need to look for opportunities and create them; not just wait. A change in perspective to know that your identity is first in Christ will drive you for His mission. Jesus operated in the power of the Holy Spirit all through his ministry; He gave us access to the same power through faith, that we could share in His mission. In John 13:15, this is indicative that Jesus set an example for us to follow Him in His mission before commissioning us to do the same. *Our God is a missionary God, He always sends and restores. The Holy Spirit is a Missionary Spirit, empowering us to fulfill our calling, and Jesus was a missionary in action, He first set an example for everything He eventually commanded us to do as well.* _MEDITATION:_ *“Someone asked Will the heathen who have never heard the Gospel be saved? *DAILY DEW 28/MAY/2022* *Be Revived* _Key Bible Text:_ *“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked"* (Revelation 3:15-17 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Revival is to bring back to a previous condition from a state of complacency, passiveness, and lukewarmness. While restoration is a necessary part of revival, there is more to being revived than just being restored from a state of emptiness and brokenness. Revival is renewal, restoration and rekindling of the love and power of God in our lives. Recognizing our freedom in Jesus and our access to supernatural help, Counsel, and power through the Holy Spirit is vital in being effective as His followers. This is the work of the Holy Spirit in us, however, this is preceded by our willingness and participation in the same. *Your desire and desperation to experience restoration is a necessity to experience it.* In Revelation 2:4, Jesus rebuked the church at Ephesus for having left its first love. It is very important to *continuously revive our love for God and our passion for His mission.* This can happen only by exposing ourselves to the knowledge and revelation of His love for us. *DAILY DEW 27/MAY/2022* *New Breed: Keeping your newness alive.* _Key Bible Text:_ *“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."* (Hebrews 4:15-16 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ We could occasionally find ourselves at a place of brokenness, lukewarmness or isolation. While these challenges aren't surprising to come by, we need to know how to overcome them. In this you will tend to explore & get the perspective of becoming a New Breed. These can indefinitely transform your walk with God, & keep your newness alive. Be Restored It is common to find ourselves in a place of emptiness when we struggle with addictions, depression, and brokenness. Whether you are journeying through such a phase or haven’t yet experienced it, knowing about restoration and equipping ourselves for it can help you deal with these challenges better. But the beginning of healing and restoration is recognizing that we already have supernatural help and rescue. Jesus in His journey on earth, until He was crucified and rose again, experienced more trauma than we could possibly imagine, and He understands our situation better than any person can. In understanding what we go through and having laid down His life for us, God’s overwhelming love offers supernatural comfort, help, and restoration. A key practice that facilitates restoration is reading God’s word. *DAILY DEW 25/MAY/2022* *THE NECESSITY OF HUNGER* (IV) _Key Bible Text:_ *“In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work."* (John 4:31-34 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Hunger for God, as we must see, manifest in a number of ways: hunger for righteousness, hunger for God's presence, to wit, to spend time studying His word and praying, etc. One other way, hunger for God is seen and experienced, is HUNGER TO DO HIS WILL & HIS WORK! (This is also righteousness but with focus on the Father's heart beat, that is, kingdom expansion) Hungry believers do not get tired of being Hungry for God's righteousness and His Kingdom's establishment and expansion. Open to John 4:4-8, you will notice that Jesus was both wearied from his journey and hungry since his disciples had to go buy meat. However, as can be seen later in that chapter, and as captured in our key Bible text, Jesus was more hungry to do the will of His Father and to Finish His work, than He was for physical bread, meat or water! Hunger for God must mean something to you. Hunger for God must mean knowing God and making Him known! To further buttress His point about hunger and doing/finishing the Will and Work of the Father, Jesus added as follows:- *_"Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
