*DAILY DEW 29/MAY/2022* *COMMISSIONED* _Key Bible Text:_ *“Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things."* (Luke 24:45-48 (KJV) ) _Bible Insight:_ Did you ever feel that preaching the Gospel is only a pastor or an evangelist’s job? It is beautiful that God chooses to partner with each and every one of us who knows of Him as a savior. While we feel the need to evangelize, many often save it for those rare opportunities. However, it is important to recognize that we are on a mission wherever God has placed us and we need to look for opportunities and create them; not just wait. A change in perspective to know that your identity is first in Christ will drive you for His mission. Jesus operated in the power of the Holy Spirit all through his ministry; He gave us access to the same power through faith, that we could share in His mission. In John 13:15, this is indicative that Jesus set an example for us to follow Him in His mission before commissioning us to do the same. *Our God is a missionary God, He always sends and restores. The Holy Spirit is a Missionary Spirit, empowering us to fulfill our calling, and Jesus was a missionary in action, He first set an example for everything He eventually commanded us to do as well.* _MEDITATION:_ *“Someone asked Will the heathen who have never heard the Gospel be saved?
