The assignment we have on our lives is the privilege we have to be an expression of God's goodness for the benefit of others. Our assignment utilizes our purpose (to bear His image and shine) and our calling (the gifts on our life) for the benefit of others. Our assignments continually change and become bigger as we are faithful in offering our lives to others. Our lives are set up to meet the needs of others and to be their reward. As we cultivate our relationship with God, we begin to take on the heart of God for others and gain clarity on the assignments He has given us. Each assignment bears the fruit of His nature and releases the reward of His Kingdom to others. *DAILY DEW 26/JUNE/2022* *CALLING* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."* (John 15:16 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ CALLING: “how” we do it; the tools to walk out our assignment on earth. Our calling is the gifts God has freely given us. Our talents, abilities, health, intelligence, and family are all gifts given to us for the benefit of others. It is our responsibility to steward over our gifts, work hard to develop them, and offer them as gifts back to God. It isn’t intended to become our identity or a way to draw attention to ourselves. Our worth and identity come from Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and the blood that He shed for us. Our gifts are simply to benefit others and to be used as a reflection of His love. They are another reflection of God’s goodness working through our lives. *DAILY DEW 25/JUNE/2022* *The New Purpose, Calling & Assignment* _Key Bible Text:_ *"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."* (2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ PURPOSE: the “why” behind our lives; the reason we were created; the original intent for our lives. As children of God, our purpose on the earth is to bear the image of Jesus. We are new creations in Christ and, therefore, have the nature of God, which is love. We are continually being renewed into the likeness of God. The Bible says that the greatest commandment is to LOVE! In addition, we were created to shine. To shine is to live a life of faith - being fully convinced in our hearts of the Truth (Jesus, the Word of God, the promises of God, and Heaven). It entails always keeping the perspective of Heaven and living from Heaven’s reality. Everywhere we go, we invite Heaven to shine through us. We exist in this world, but we are not OF the world. We are called to be light in the darkness, never dimming the light within us. How do we remain in our purpose? We continually surrender our lives, agendas, and desires to God. We come boldly to the Father and crucify our flesh daily, taking on our new nature, created to be like God - truly righteous and holy. _MEDITATION:_ *"Questions: 1. *DAILY DEW 1/JUNE/2022* *STAY FOCUSED* _Key Bible Text:_ *“Keep your eyes on [Jesus], who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed--that exhilarating finish in and with God--he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he's [there], in the place of honor, right alongside God."* (Hebrews 12:2 (The Message)) _Bible Insight:_ Don’t lose your wonder. After a season of absolute awe and new learnings about God, did you go through a phase where you felt like you lost that amazement? In Psalms 139:6 while talking about God’s love and knowledge of us, David says, “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.” While you fix your eyes on Jesus, it is also important to explore and receive new revelations about God. God’s work is too vast for us to measure and too profound for us to fathom, however, God is gracious to give us glimpses of His Glory when we love Him and long to know more. These continuous revelations about God will unquestionably leave you in wonder, fueling your love and passion for God. In the monotony created, many Christians almost lose the realization of the authority that we have as sons and daughters of God. Don’t ever become passive about the passion you carried and casual about the mission you committed your life to. What are some creative ways you can think of to remind yourself and always hold on to that “wonder”? Start practicing them and list down all that amazes you. Psalms 139 holds a beautiful list of revelations about God. And ye are witnesses of these things."* (Luke 24:45-48 (KJV) ) _Bible Insight:_ Did you ever feel that preaching the Gospel is only a pastor or an evangelist’s job? It is beautiful that God chooses to partner with each and every one of us who knows of Him as a savior. While we feel the need to evangelize, many often save it for those rare opportunities. However, it is important to recognize that we are on a mission wherever God has placed us and we need to look for opportunities and create them; not just wait. A change in perspective to know that your identity is first in Christ will drive you for His mission. Jesus operated in the power of the Holy Spirit all through his ministry; He gave us access to the same power through faith, that we could share in His mission. In John 13:15, this is indicative that Jesus set an example for us to follow Him in His mission before commissioning us to do the same. *Our God is a missionary God, He always sends and restores. The Holy Spirit is a Missionary Spirit, empowering us to fulfill our calling, and Jesus was a missionary in action, He first set an example for everything He eventually commanded us to do as well.* _MEDITATION:_ *“Someone asked Will the heathen who have never heard the Gospel be saved?
