*DAILY DEW 4TH/OCTOBER/2021* *THE BETTER COVENANT* (IV) _Key Bible Text:_ *But now, Jesus has been given priestly work which is superior to theirs, just as the covenant which He arranged between God and His people is a BETTER ONE, because it is based on promises of better things.* (Hebrews 8:6 (GNB)) _Bible Insight:_ .*3."None of them will have to teach their friends or tell their neighbors, 'Know the Lord.' For they will all know me, from the least to the greatest."* Remember this: the promises of better things upon which this new covenant is built are as follows: 1. "I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts."; 2. "I will be their God, and they will be my people."; 3. "None of them will have to teach their friends or tell their neighbors, 'Know the Lord.' For they will all know me, from the least to the greatest."; and 4. "I will forgive their sins and will no longer remember their wrongs." These promises actually make the new covenant a better one. We take a closer look at the third promise. God promises that under this new covenant, there will be knowledge of God upon the people of God. Please note that there is a progression: first, you will have God's laws in your inner person. Your heart will naturally be inclined to follow God's word. Second, you will be God's person. When people ask for Gods ambassadors, you'll definitely be recognize as one. This leads us to the third one: you will know the Lord. You will not need a reminder to know him. You will recognize His voice. You will naturally be inclined to the knowledge of God. You will experience the reality of the ministry of the anointing, where without being taught by men, with God's word opened before you, will be taught by the Holy Ghost. *DAILY DEW 27TH /SEPTEMBER/2021* *IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SERVE GOD WITHOUT SERVING ONE ANOTHER* _Key Bible Text:_ *The greatest among you must be a servant. But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.* (Matthew 23:11‭-‬12 (NLT)) _Bible Insight:_ Think about the topic for a minute. In order to serve God, we have to serve the people around us. Why? Because God doesn’t need anything from us. Instead, He wants something for us. So He calls us to serve people. And we’ll never lock eyes with someone whom God doesn’t adore. Those are the people we get to serve. We may wonder what we have to offer someone. God equipped us with distinct spiritual gifts before we inhaled our first breath. He formed each of us in our mother’s womb, and He knows every intricate detail of our being. And, He made us to operate in a certain way, so that others will be blessed and encouraged by our contribution. So, how we are wired is God-driven and God-ordained. Maybe you are: *An entrepreneur who knows how to execute the most remarkable plans. *People-oriented, and you know just what to say and do to bring comfort to someone in need. *A “behind-the-scenes” person, and you always ensure that tasks are done even if no one ever notices. *A hospitable person who knows how to make a room inviting and brings a calmness over others. *An amazing writer who is able to convey truths about God in ways that help others understand Him more. We may be using our spiritual gifts to impact fellow believers, or we may simply be performing our daily duties: satisfying our earthly responsibilities is our way to serve God. It really is that simple. Why? *DAILY DEW 20TH/SEPTEMBER/2021* *GOD'S PRESENCE. 1* _Key Bible Text:_ *You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. (Psalms 16.11(NIV))* _Bible Insight:_ Oh how joyous, interesting, good and peaceful it is to be in the presence of the person you love and cherish more than anyone. The feeling could take away every fear, doubt or any thought that bothers your mind that is giving you restless nights. This feeling could be because you have found someone you want to be with for the rest of your life. In addition, you will be able to pour out your mind to the person who you so much love and cherish because you know he or she will take up your burden and reason with you, even though he or she cannot solve all but they will still try to put a smile on your face because you love each other. There are so many things that will happen when you are in the presence of a person you trust and love. 1. You will be free and you will not be afraid of anything knowing you are not alone but someone that will always strive to make you happy is around. 2. Another thing is that you cannot be down so far as your heart is with the person you so much love. It will be that you be at peace and your mind will be at rest, no confusion at all. 3. In such presence, you will remember everything that doesn't really matter and you tell the person all your mind. Because you love the person. These are all just for human relationship to each other. Have you really put the same trust in the most High God? He knows everything about you even before you were born. I am sure if you have been in His presence you won't want to leave so quick. Our Bible text makes it clear to us that God will make known to us the path of life. This is when you are in His presence. *DAILY DEW 13TH/SEPTEMBER/2021* *WE WORSHIP BY SURRENDERING OUR WILL TO GOD* _Key Bible Text:_ *So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.* (1 Corinthians 10:31 (NLT)) _Bible Insight:_ As Christ followers, we are called to fulfill His purpose, not ours. To love Him with our whole hearts, disregarding all else that competes for our devotion. To love others as much as we love ourselves. (And that's a whole lot.) To make His name known, and to build His legacy, rather than ensuring that our name is known. What if, in the midst of the temptations this world throws at us, we choose not to conform to the standards that everyone else seems to think are normal or, even worse, expected? What if we instead yield our will to what He calls us to do? We’re called to push all of our affection to a loving God who adores us — not to worship the material possessions that this world offers. This God that we get to spend the rest of our days worshiping is good. His plans are spectacular, and He invites us to join Him. Even the most outrageous and dazzling ideas we have for a good life aren’t even in the same universe as the plans He has for us. Amen.* (Romans 11:36 (NIV)) _Bible Insight:_ The reason we worship God is because He is worthy of it. He is worthy of our worship, every single second of every single day. Everything that has breath was created to worship God. On any given day, we often direct our worship toward something or someone that did nothing to deserve it. Only God is worthy to receive glory, honor and power, for He is the Creator of the Universe (Revelation 4). We should hold God in such high regard that we adore and cherish Him above all and before all. But in order for us to truly be able to worship God, we must know Him, or we must at least begin the lifelong quest of doing so. God’s Word, the Bible, is full of information about the God we serve. The Old Testament chapters in Psalms are infused with truths about Him, His character, and His ways. As Christ followers, let’s dedicate our lives to worshiping the only One who is worthy of it.
