*DAILY DEW 11/MAY/2022* *THE MOUNTAIN OF FAMILY* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud;!love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail."* (1Cor 13:4-7(GNB)) _Bible Insight:_ What else makes a family strong and able to influence the society? 2. A genuine demonstration of love: How do you learn love from your (previous) home? Did your mother and father show the love needed to influence a society? You can't export or teach or apply what you do not have. The Family that will wield godly influence that can positively impact on the society is one where you have agape love. You learn unconditional love (God kind of love) from home. That's the best place to learn/teach agape love. Effects of a loveless home:- 1. Violence. Quarrel and fight without settling. Build the opposite of this in your family. 2. Hatred. Bitterness. Don't give room to siblings rivalry and internal wrangling! 3. Marital crises. Father and mother quarrel before the children. Don't model a dysfunctional marriage or home to the children. It has far reaching consequences that may not be easily reversed. When resolving a conflict, enter the room, lower your voices and discuss in the spirit of love. And boundaries must be set such that you will know what to say or not. If you can't boast of a family that has taught you the right way, you still have a chance. Be transformed by renewing your mind. Challenge what you have been exposed to that is not godly. You can overcome the negative effects of wrong foundations. To build a family that can impact or influence the society, do this as well. 3. Raise or become individuals who are committed to each other. *DAILY DEW 10/MAY/2022* *THE MOUNTAIN OF FAMILY* (I) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table."* (Psalms 128:1-3 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ If you have heard about the 7 mountains of influence, you should also know that the family is the mother of the 7 mountains. If you have not, you can ask me later or google it 😉 The design of God is that influence and power will flow from the family system because the family is the mini church. Therefore we need to find out more about the nature of the family that can influence the world. Remember that you can't choose your family. God placed us in families. *It is for us to discover the blessing peculiar to each families* Marriages places us in peculiar families. Family begins by birth, and birth begins by marriage. Every family is blessed. *Look at the family you come from and study what is available and ensure you change what is not good enough and improve upon what is good.* A blessed family is a fulfilled, happy, strong family, whether rich or poor. What makes a family strong and able to influence the society? *1. A great sense of spiritual awareness and alignment:* Now, brace up for this:- *That Jesus is in a family does not make it a happy home* Jesus can be in your house yet wine will finish, you will suffer threats to divorce, and even experience broken homes. Infact, that you wedded in church does not make it a christian family. What then? What makes you a Christian family is obedience to the instructions of the master. Jesus being in your family is not the answer but obeying Jesus as the ultimate head of the family is the answer! A great sense of spiritual awareness means, having a Solid family altar, a spiritual disposition for hosting God. A time to pray. An attitude to God. Husband and wife consistently talking and sharing the word together. Then individually, husbands, wives and children having their personal time with God. A spiritually healthy atmosphere is a place of renewing commitment to God and confronting issues together. _MEDITATION:_ *"Men and families of altars are men of power. It is this altar that can make you impact your society. *DAILY DEW 9/MAY/2022* *WISDOM PRINCIPLES FOR KINGDOM WEALTH CREATION* (The End) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men."* (Proverbs 22:29 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Three additional things to bear in mind as a Kingdom Wealth Practitioner:- 1. Your Labour: You can increase the quality of your labour. For instance, every good professional, like lawyers, doctors, etc have developed their own skills, beyond the common level. The quality of your labour must be consistently and deliberately improved upon! 2. As you advance in age, your labour will depreciate. Bear in mind that the quality (or perhaps quantity or both) of your labour will reduce as you advance in age. The principle of diminishing returns will set in, over time as you develop and deploy your labour. Having this knowledge will make you prepare yourself for the grey ages of your life. Thus, you must apply time management & financial literacy skills to counter this! God has not given us money-- he gave us time, ideas and strength (power). The way you manage your time will dictate the way you make money. As you advance in age, your labour reduces and your money reduces unless, you use your time & money well, by adhering to the principles earlier discussed in this series (Check previous Daily Dews) *When you speak of wealth, the measure of your wealth is not measured by the amount of money you have now, but by the duration of the financial comfort you enjoy when your labour and time is not involved.* Assuming you don't go to work, will you still sustain your standard of living? Make preparations today that will free your labour and time without you losing inflow of income/money. It gives you more freedom to do the work of God, such as missions and evangelism. Having this as a financial goal or vision is key! What arrangement are you making at your earning stage in life? 3. To depend on your children should not be your financial backup plan for your grey years. A good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children. Financial Anointing (FA):- FA deals with God's response to your faithfulness. Faithfulness in service, faithfulness in obeying God's word, faithfulness in diligence, faithfulness in work, etc. FA is the realm of commanded blessings as found in Deut 28. However, note that FA Without Financial Intelligence will not still add up to expectations. 3. Financial Enterprising:- Aim to graduate from means of production to owner of production. Aim to own a means of production. To become a kingdom wealth practitioner, becoming an entrepreneur is a major advantage. 4. Financial Investment:- Investment is a way of employing money to generate money The first road map to financial empowerment is financial investment. *DAILY DEW 7/MAY/2022* *WISDOM PRINCIPLES FOR KINGDOM WEALTH CREATION* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *"According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:"* (2 Peter 1:3 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ You will never know how big you can make it in kingdom wealth creation, until you begin to read books. Your relationship with God is a relationship of covenant of wealth both spiritually and otherwise. To achieve kingdom wealth creation you must develop yourself in the following ways:- 1. Financial intelligence (FI): The ability to use FI to create wealth is an important knowledge to acquire. You must know that work will not answer all money problem or money creation problem. If work does, then every one working should have been financially liberated. You live to work but you are not working to live. Likewise, education is not the solution to all money problem. Some persons did not go to school but are far richer than some who went to school. So understand that education is key but not the most fundamental key to wealth creation. Define wealth. Wealth definition must be done per individual basis. My definition of wealth need not be the common or popular definition or perception of what wealth is. Kingdom wealth practitioners must link their God given vision to their definition of wealth! _MEDITATION:_ *"Education will not solve all money problem.
