*DAILY DEW 10/MAY/2022* *THE MOUNTAIN OF FAMILY* (I) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table."* (Psalms 128:1-3 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ If you have heard about the 7 mountains of influence, you should also know that the family is the mother of the 7 mountains. If you have not, you can ask me later or google it 😉 The design of God is that influence and power will flow from the family system because the family is the mini church. Therefore we need to find out more about the nature of the family that can influence the world. Remember that you can't choose your family. God placed us in families. *It is for us to discover the blessing peculiar to each families* Marriages places us in peculiar families. Family begins by birth, and birth begins by marriage. Every family is blessed. *Look at the family you come from and study what is available and ensure you change what is not good enough and improve upon what is good.* A blessed family is a fulfilled, happy, strong family, whether rich or poor. What makes a family strong and able to influence the society? *1. A great sense of spiritual awareness and alignment:* Now, brace up for this:- *That Jesus is in a family does not make it a happy home* Jesus can be in your house yet wine will finish, you will suffer threats to divorce, and even experience broken homes. Infact, that you wedded in church does not make it a christian family. What then? What makes you a Christian family is obedience to the instructions of the master. Jesus being in your family is not the answer but obeying Jesus as the ultimate head of the family is the answer! A great sense of spiritual awareness means, having a Solid family altar, a spiritual disposition for hosting God. A time to pray. An attitude to God. Husband and wife consistently talking and sharing the word together. Then individually, husbands, wives and children having their personal time with God. A spiritually healthy atmosphere is a place of renewing commitment to God and confronting issues together. _MEDITATION:_ *"Men and families of altars are men of power. It is this altar that can make you impact your society.
