And ye are witnesses of these things."* (Luke 24:45-48 (KJV) ) _Bible Insight:_ Did you ever feel that preaching the Gospel is only a pastor or an evangelist’s job? It is beautiful that God chooses to partner with each and every one of us who knows of Him as a savior. While we feel the need to evangelize, many often save it for those rare opportunities. However, it is important to recognize that we are on a mission wherever God has placed us and we need to look for opportunities and create them; not just wait. A change in perspective to know that your identity is first in Christ will drive you for His mission. Jesus operated in the power of the Holy Spirit all through his ministry; He gave us access to the same power through faith, that we could share in His mission. In John 13:15, this is indicative that Jesus set an example for us to follow Him in His mission before commissioning us to do the same. *Our God is a missionary God, He always sends and restores. *DAILY DEW 22/MAY/2022* *THE NECESSITY OF HUNGER* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." (Matthew 5:6 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Hunger is a vital requirement for all believers who will become who they have been recreated to be by virtue of their new birth! Every believer has a duty to desire serious hunger for their spiritual growth. In this series, we shall review some of the teachings that points to the necessity of hunger for kingdom high flyers! No kingdom high flyer is ever made by just being casual and normal! Lack of hunger is sign of spiritual dullness and lukewarmness. Non-hungry believers are easy targets for the devil's schemes and they are easily swayed by sins and weights that lead astray! How hungry you are for God and compliance with His word determines if you will be a vessel unto honour or a dishonorable vessel. There are two kinds of Christians. Those who are too hungry that can't be satisfied with the things of this world and those who are so full of the things of this world, and have no hunger for more of Jesus! *DAILY DEW 15/MAY/2022* *Rightly Diving The Word of Truth* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.* (2 Tim 2:15 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Context in bible study means a word can mean different things in different books, chapters, and verses of the bible. This means you can't claim to understand the meaning of a word in Genesis based on how it was used in 1 John. E.g. righteousness doesn't always refer to the gift we have by faith, it can also refer to righteous acts. Hence, the verse 'the righteous are as bold as a lion' (Proverbs 28:1) is not a faith confession based on justification by faith. Many of us have used it that way but the context deals with oppression, justice, and upright living. So, the boldness is against the law of the land which makes the wicked flee even when nobody is pursuing him. If you miss the message here, and you lead a questionable lifestyle, you'll discover that you won't be bold as a lion when you're arrested for your evil ways. Does that mean righteousness by faith doesn't make us bold? Of course it does! But in a different context entirely, not this one. _MEDITATION:_ *"Whenever we miss context, a major lesson is missed. Financial Anointing (FA):- FA deals with God's response to your faithfulness. Faithfulness in service, faithfulness in obeying God's word, faithfulness in diligence, faithfulness in work, etc. FA is the realm of commanded blessings as found in Deut 28. However, note that FA Without Financial Intelligence will not still add up to expectations. 3. Financial Enterprising:- Aim to graduate from means of production to owner of production. Aim to own a means of production. To become a kingdom wealth practitioner, becoming an entrepreneur is a major advantage. 4. Financial Investment:- Investment is a way of employing money to generate money The first road map to financial empowerment is financial investment. *DAILY DEW 1/MAY/2022* *MIRACLE AT THE SALON/BARBER'S SHOP* _Key Bible Text:_ *"To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will."* (1 Corinthians 12:10-11 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ My brother (Teeman Shotit), His wife, and I, went to a unisex salon yesterday and while they were working on their hairs, I was seated on a chair listening to a message. My mind was deeply buried in it so much that I didn't know someone had passed out and the whole place was in commotion and panic. By the time my brother's wife tapped me to alert me, I was the only one sitting while everyone had gathered around the body of a young man. When I got there, I saw my brother laying hands and shouting 'come back!' 'Wake up now' in the name of Jesus! Suddenly, he jacked back and opened his eyes. My brother said to him, this is the power of God! A door of utterance was opened. According to my brother, he just noticed the young man was jacking and stretching and as they were trying to help him he shut his eyes and passed out. At that point, the whole place was already very tensed and frightening. That was when he stepped in and began to pray and a miracle broke loose. I have called this morning to ask about him. He is very fine and stable still. Glory to God! Acts of power are normal experiences. Here are a few things to note from this one. We don't need a special atmosphere to manifest the power of God. We were in our most ordinary state in an ordinary place. The songs on their speakers were secular songs. Nobody was playing strings on keyboard. We were cutting our hair not preaching in a conference. Nobody also knew us as believers or ministers. Yet the power of God moved! _MEDITATION:_ *"You see, once your consciousness is right, you are set. We build that consciousness in our gatherings and then take it to our personal spaces. Jesus moved the power of God even at a wedding party. Don't limit the move of God to church services. We carry God everywhere we go!
