*DAILY DEW 22ND/JANUARY/2022* **NARROW IS THE WAY (II)* _Key Bible Text:_ *"You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose the easy way.”* (Matthew 7:13 (NLT)) _Bible Insight:_ The alternative to the Broad Road, is the Narrow way. It is available for anyone who want to walk in them. It has prerequisites and rules and regulations to walk in them successfully. It is the matter of the choice an individual makes I will like to emphasize on the Narrow Road/Way. According to our key text, both way leads to some where. But they are just like words and opposite: one leads to life (Narrow Way) while the other leads to death (Broad Way). The one that leads to life has its do's and dont's while the one that leads to death has no rules accept whatever works or feels good. It's a matter of choice. There is a great instruction and command in our key text. It says *"Enter by the narrow gate*". *DAILY DEW 21ST/JANUARY/2022* *NARROW IS THE WAY (I)* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Don't look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don't fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do.”* (Matthew 7:13(MSB)) _Bible Insight:_ Every normal human being likes to be free to do anything that they will without being questioned about it. And most people like to walk & live freely and not be bound to some rules and regulations but will that be possible for a heaven minded person? NO! There are two possible kinds of road one can pass through depending on who a person submits to. It's either one submits to the supreme God through Christ Jesus or the adversary (the devil) through all other gods or mediators. One way possible is the broad way according to our Bible Text. I will like to compare our main version with another version and add verses 14 to it. *DAILY DEW 20TH/JANUARY/2022* *AMAZING GOD* _Key Bible Text:_ *"The world's a huge stockpile of GOD-wonders and God--thoughts. Nothing and no one comes close to you! I start talking about you, telling what I know, and quickly run out of words. Neither numbers nor words account for you.”* (Psalms 40:5 (MSB)) _Bible Insight:_ God is the beginning and the end. How can I start to describe the wondrous, glorious and great things the Alpha and Omega has done and the ones He is still doing? Have you ever wondered about the awesomeness of Yahweh, His faithfulness, His Love so great and overwhelming? He causes great surprises and wonders that the mind cannot overemphasize. Miraculous God. Ponder on His excellency, so marvelous for words. A forsaken person is being lifted through the love He has for humans. *What is man, that thou art mindful of him and the son of man, that thou visitest him?* (Psalms 8:4 (KJV)). So great love that cannot be fathomed -- *"This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life."* (John.3.16 (MSB)) Unsearchable King of Glory, too much to understand, yet He uses my heart as His dwelling place. The owner of everything, without Him nothing was made that was made. *Everything was created through him; nothing--not one thing!- came into being without him.* (John.1.3 (MSB) He loves you through your good or bad. He does not erase your future because of your bad. But you need to align and seek the *Amazing God* and He will show forth in His splendor. He answers prayers in miraculous ways; Sovereign God, Mighty God in Battle. He left His throne up in Heaven to dwell among men to show His loving kindness and how men can be perfect when they truly follow His footsteps. He made us in His likeness. He is the Mighty Ruler, who can manage everyone on earth without any complaint. He never fails. He is too faithful to fail. His mercies are new every morning and it is everlasting. *DAILY DEW 19TH/JANUARY/2022* *Faith Series: The Sacrifices of Faith* _Key Bible Text:_ *"By Faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.”* (Hebrews 11:4 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Abel's sacrificial offering was one of Faith. How do we know? Pay attention to this: *"After some time Cain brought some of his harvest and gave it as an offering to the LORD. Then Abel brought the first lamb born to one of his sheep, killed it, and gave the best parts of it as an offering. The LORD was pleased with Abel and his offering"* (Genesis 4:3-4 (GNB)) Take note of the words used to describe Cain's sacrifice: "some of his harvest"-- nothing special. But here are words used to describe Abel's sacrifice - "first lamb born", "best part", etc. Whether you are reading King James version or Good News Bible version, the difference is clear. Abel was intentional and deliberate about his offering. What Hebrews 11:4 now reveals to us is the heart disposition that enabled Abel deliver an intentional and deliberate offerring to God-- it was a disposition of faith! Abel had Faith that his sacrifice would be acceptable hence he made extra efforts to distinguish his offering by selecting the very best. His reward? We are still learning about him and his sacrifice because his sacrifice is still speaking. Hallelujah!! If we must deliver offerings that would attract divine attention and commendation, we must offer sacrifices of Faith. Not only in material things but first our lives must be offered to God in Faith. *DAILY DEW 18TH/JANUARY/2022* *Faith Series: The Creative Force of Faith* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Through Faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”* (Hebrews 11:3 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Your belief gives validity to your reality. When you believe in the impossibility of a matter or subject, that becomes your reality. Positive beliefs keeps one positive and vice versa. It's true that "if you can't believe, you can't achieve", as opined by Jeff Long. However, beyond believing in the natural, there is a higher realm of supernatural belief. This is belief rooted or based on the word of God. This is where (supernatural) Faith comes in. Everything God ever created was made by God without anything that is seen. When God embarked on creation the only raw material was and is the Word! Indeed, without the word there was nothing made that was made. God did not create the world by Faith, however, we understand and agree about how He created the whole world with only his own words through Faith. *"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God"* This attribute of God, to create "things which are seen" is uniquely displayed because they were NOT MADE "of things which do appear". Now this unique ability is also activated in everyone who applies Faith.
