*DAILY DEW 27TH/ OCTOBER/2021* *ENFORCING THE KINGDOM OF GOD* _Key Bible Text:_ *"For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."* (Romans.14.17(KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ God is good and His mercy endures forever. He has a great plan for all His creation, especially man. God is still mindful of everyone here on earth. Psalms.8.4 (KJV), says *What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?* He is still faithful to His word that He does not want anyone to perish but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9). Indeed, the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. However, it appears that we see or find the opposite of this today. A lot of people are more subject to the devil than they are to God. *This is must become our prayer today: "Oh Lord, let Your kingdom come!"* There is work to be done. There is a provision to enforce the kingdom of God here on earth which also implies to set the world right. To enforce the kingdom of God here on earth can only be achieved through the power of God in you when you receive Him. John.1.12 (KJV) says *But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name* Accepting Christ and having His power in you is not for enjoyment alone. It is to enforce His kingdom here on earth. He has given us power that is above every other power. The power of the Lord in you is to enforce the kingdom of God, exercise the power of God in you through studying and digging deep into His Word and applying it to your daily activities. This will foster the presence of God that you carry and this in turn will be a blessing to you and your generation. Enforce the kingdom of God and let the devil be in trouble and confusion because you received Christ. Stand for holiness, righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into Him and they are safe. *DAILY DEW 13TH/OCTOBER/2021* *KEEPING THE BODY BALANCED* _Key Bible Text:_ *Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.* (Matthew 13:52 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ *The Old & New Testament Have Treasures for the New Creation Man* A lot of times we believers ruled out certain things in the name of it is under the Old Testament. Some go as far as wrongly including the idea that tithe is for Old Testament. Granted that certain things do not apply under the New Testament, for example, you don't need any intermediary priest to ask for God's forgiveness. However, there are certain teachings that align both in the New and Old Testament and these must be richly discerned and taught. Striving to get a balance in the body of Christ can only be achieved when doctrines and teachings align. A lot of division and confusion breeds in the body of Christ because many believers fail to take time to study the word, rather than accept man made commandments and traditions passed down as true doctrines. To keep balance in the body of Christ, we must keep balance in the doctrines of Christ as understood and taught by believers We are going to consider two major ideas/teachings that are very relevant to the believer even in this Holy Spirit Era. The first is the teaching about the wrath of God vs the love of God. The second is related, but different, that is, the love of God vs the fear of God. God willing, we shall receive more light as we look at these two together. While we are at it, would you agree that the Love of God is the only factor that leads men to salvation? Or do you think apart from the love of God, an understanding of the wrath of God is key if an individual would be receptive to the Gospel? *DAILY DEW 6TH/OCTOBER/2021* *THE BETTER COVENANT* (The End) _Key Bible Text:_ *If there had been nothing wrong with the first covenant, there would have been no need for a second one.* (Hebrews 8:7 (GNB)) _Bible Insight:_ But God finds fault with his people when he says, *"The days are coming, says the Lord, when I will draw up a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. It will not be like the covenant that I made with their ancestors on the day I took them by the hand and led them out of Egypt. They were not faithful to the covenant I made with them, and so I paid no attention to them."* *Now, this is the covenant that I will make with the people of Israel in the days to come, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.* *None of them will have to teach their friends or tell their neighbors, 'Know the Lord.' For they will all know me, from the least to the greatest. I will forgive their sins and will no longer remember their wrongs.* By speaking of a new covenant, God has made the first one old; and anything that becomes old and worn out will soon disappear. *DAILY DEW 29TH/SEPTEMBER/2021* *Before The Cross: We Are Humbled* _Key Bible Text:_ *“And being found in human form, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.”* – (Philippians 2:8) _Bible Insight:_ Jesus is our ultimate example of humility. As we are sinful, find forgiveness through Jesus, and become disciples, it’s an easy temptation to become prideful in the process. Satan would love nothing more than for God’s children to walk around prideful. God opposes the proud, and gives grace to the humble. Yes, it’s true that we are forgiven through Christ, but that doesn’t give us a free pass to do anything we want. Likewise, it doesn’t mean that we know it all and that we can look down on others or slander those who reject the Word of God. If we look to the cross, we see how we can exercise humility towards others. We can avoid pride and love others despite their actions towards us because of Jesus’ love towards us despite our actions towards Him. We are still sometimes sinful and still fall short every other day as believers at times (which makes the cross that much bigger), so we have no right to be prideful towards others or to God. *DAILY DEW 22ND/SEPTEMBER/2021* *WE ARE SINFUL* _Key Bible Text:_ *But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.* (Romans 5:8 (NLT)) _Bible Insight:_ Something is wrong with the world. Something is broken. Something is wrong with all of us. Deep down I believe we all sense this. We can tell something is not right and can’t quite explain why. Whether or not we are believers, I think we can agree this is true. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23 When we come before the Cross of Christ, we become painfully aware that there is nothing we can do to be in a right relationship with God. There is nothing we can do to obtain salvation. Even if we have a “good” day full of good works including loving others and serving them, the Bible says our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment (Isaiah 64:6). If the story ended in the fact that we are sinful, that would be the worst news possible. It would honestly be depressing and what hope would we have? Thankfully, the Bible doesn’t teach us that there is no hope. It actually teaches quite the opposite.“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16 As we come before the cross, we realize that we are forgiven through what Jesus has done for us. The Bible teaches that this forgiveness is available for all people, and that we need to believe in Jesus, choose to repent from our sinful ways, and decide to follow Him.
