*Be Revived*
_Key Bible Text:_
*“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked"* (Revelation 3:15-17 (KJV))
_Bible Insight:_
Revival is to bring back to a previous condition from a state of complacency, passiveness, and lukewarmness.
While restoration is a necessary part of revival, there is more to being revived than just being restored from a state of emptiness and brokenness. Revival is renewal, restoration and rekindling of the love and power of God in our lives.
Recognizing our freedom in Jesus and our access to supernatural help, Counsel, and power through the Holy Spirit is vital in being effective as His followers. This is the work of the Holy Spirit in us, however, this is preceded by our willingness and participation in the same. *Your desire and desperation to experience restoration is a necessity to experience it.*
In Revelation 2:4, Jesus rebuked the church at Ephesus for having left its first love. It is very important to *continuously revive our love for God and our passion for His mission.* This can happen only by exposing ourselves to the knowledge and revelation of His love for us. We love God because He first loved us, and His love for us since the beginning of time is beyond human comprehension.
_MEDITATION:_
*“Before trying to fix fading areas that need attention, by yourself, expose yourself to the awesomeness of God and His love for you, it is the most powerful means to being revived!"*

*THE NECESSITY OF HUNGER*
_Key Bible Text:_
*"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." (Matthew 5:6 (KJV))
_Bible Insight:_
Hunger is a vital requirement for all believers who will become who they have been recreated to be by virtue of their new birth! Every believer has a duty to desire serious hunger for their spiritual growth. In this series, we shall review some of the teachings that points to the necessity of hunger for kingdom high flyers!
No kingdom high flyer is ever made by just being casual and normal! Lack of hunger is sign of spiritual dullness and lukewarmness. Non-hungry believers are easy targets for the devil's schemes and they are easily swayed by sins and weights that lead astray!
How hungry you are for God and compliance with His word determines if you will be a vessel unto honour or a dishonorable vessel. There are two kinds of Christians. Those who are too hungry that can't be satisfied with the things of this world and those who are so full of the things of this world, and have no hunger for more of Jesus! What kind are you?
_MEDITATION:_
*“Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh." (Luke 6:21 (KJV))

*RELATIONSHIPS & CHOOSING A LIFE PARTNER* (VI)
_Key Bible Text:_
*"Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man."* Colossians 4:6 (KJV))
_Bible Insight:_
SOME RED FLAGS to consider when considering a serious relationship or choice of a life partner:-
8. Loud-mouthed, not sensitive, & not considerate towards others?
How do you talk to others? What attitude do you throw around? Are you sensitive about the feelings of others, especially those you don't like or take interest in or consider as a close friend? Being considerate only towards those you care about is not good enough. Are you the kind of partner or potential partner that is loquacious, insensitive and non accommodating?
9. The Purpose Factor.
What do you want from life? What direction are you going in life? Do you know or have you discovered your God-given purpose? To be more convinced about your purpose, invest in books and prayers, and in the right circle of friends while keeping busy until you are certain of what direction God wants for you. Being idle or staying inactive or indecisive until you find your purpose may not help in finding your purpose. While praying and searching for your God given purpose, keep busy purposefully.
10. Unforgiveness & lies.
Are you a habitual liar? Do you think lying is being smart? Are you that kind of partner?
Do you wallow in forgiveness?! Are you quick to pick offense and when you do, do you take a longer time before you bring yourself to the point of forgiveness? What's your cool down or cool off rate after you have been offended and angered? How long do you stay before you begin to try to let go of anger, 24 or 48 hours or more?
As a (potential) partner to a brother or sister out there, when you don't have a handle on these few mentioned factors and previous ones, you will make a poor choice of a partner. While looking for a good or right partner, work deliberately on being a great partner yourself!

*Rightly Diving The Word of Truth*
_Key Bible Text:_
*"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.* (2 Tim 2:15 (KJV))
_Bible Insight:_
Context in bible study means a word can mean different things in different books, chapters, and verses of the bible.
This means you can't claim to understand the meaning of a word in Genesis based on how it was used in 1 John. E.g. righteousness doesn't always refer to the gift we have by faith, it can also refer to righteous acts. Hence, the verse 'the righteous are as bold as a lion' (Proverbs 28:1) is not a faith confession based on justification by faith.
Many of us have used it that way but the context deals with oppression, justice, and upright living. So, the boldness is against the law of the land which makes the wicked flee even when nobody is pursuing him.
If you miss the message here, and you lead a questionable lifestyle, you'll discover that you won't be bold as a lion when you're arrested for your evil ways.
Does that mean righteousness by faith doesn't make us bold? Of course it does! But in a different context entirely, not this one.
_MEDITATION:_
*"Whenever we miss context, a major lesson is missed. You may have to find out the original context of every popular verse you grew up hearing. You might be shocked what you'll find.!"*

*DEVELOP LEADERS*
_Key Bible Text:_
*"And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."* (2 Tim. 2: 2 (KJV))
_Bible Insight:_
We prepare to peach but don't prepare to develop leaders. You can preach GOOD SERMONS but LEAD POORLY. You can be a group, unit or departmental leader, and still not really influence and impact the lives of those under you! You must raise people ...even God recruited you.
Yes, it takes time. It took God some time to get you here , so why are you in a hurry really? Spend the time with them. Give to them exposures you were given or wished you were given when you were at their age, and become to them the leader you wished you had had.
The better they grow, the higher contribution they make. Except God tells you (the Shepherd, or the more spiritual, or the more sensitive) to part way with a fellow (a sheep, or brother/sister, unit, department, or church), help develop them. Don't abandon them!
You must have people in the flanks. Therefore, develop them ahead of time. Abraham knew this... *"Abram heard that Lot had been captured. So he called out HIS 318 TRAINED MEN...."* Gen.14:14
If after all these years, you're still doing it alone, it means you've been on your own all along.
This is a leadership misstep.
_MEDITATION:_
*"If you have not blessed and raised people, where you are complaining about the state of things, you are not done there yet! Do more and do better!"*
