Our calling is the gifts God has freely given us. Our talents, abilities, health, intelligence, and family are all gifts given to us for the benefit of others. It is our responsibility to steward over our gifts, work hard to develop them, and offer them as gifts back to God. It isn’t intended to become our identity or a way to draw attention to ourselves. Our worth and identity come from Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and the blood that He shed for us. Our gifts are simply to benefit others and to be used as a reflection of His love. They are another reflection of God’s goodness working through our lives. *DAILY DEW 25/JUNE/2022* *The New Purpose, Calling & Assignment* _Key Bible Text:_ *"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."* (2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ PURPOSE: the “why” behind our lives; the reason we were created; the original intent for our lives. As children of God, our purpose on the earth is to bear the image of Jesus. We are new creations in Christ and, therefore, have the nature of God, which is love. We are continually being renewed into the likeness of God. The Bible says that the greatest commandment is to LOVE! In addition, we were created to shine. To shine is to live a life of faith - being fully convinced in our hearts of the Truth (Jesus, the Word of God, the promises of God, and Heaven). It entails always keeping the perspective of Heaven and living from Heaven’s reality. Everywhere we go, we invite Heaven to shine through us. We exist in this world, but we are not OF the world. We are called to be light in the darkness, never dimming the light within us. How do we remain in our purpose? We continually surrender our lives, agendas, and desires to God. *DAILY DEW 19/JUNE/2022* *UNDERSTANDING PRINCIPLES OF THE KINGDOM:Seeds of Destiny* _Key Bible Text:_ *"While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."* (Genesis 8:22 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Every domain of existence operates on a set of law and principles that govern everything under that domain. Seed sowing and harvest reaping are kingdom principles that must be taught and practiced by every Kingdomite. *_And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it._* (Mark 4:30-32 (KJV)) Seeds produces after its kind. The harvest takes the nature of it's kind. The harvest is always greater than the seed. The kingdom operates by seed times and harvest times. Seeds are determinants of destiny. The seed you sow will determine the harvest you get. *DAILY DEW 18/JUNE/2022* *You’ll Never Wish You Did Less* (V) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."* (1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ _Jesus Was Not Joyless_ Despite all sin, suffering, and the sorrowful state of the world, Jesus was driven by the joy of completed mission (Hebrews 12:2). Despite harassed and helpless sheep, and a desperate shortage of laborers, Jesus promised a plentiful harvest full of the redeemed from every tribe, tongue, and nation (Revelation 5:9). This is the joy Jesus saw. He is not just God, but a God over his people — many of whom are largely unknown and do not know him yet. If Jesus was joyous against all odds, so shall we his people. Let us fix our eyes on him and pray, give, go, and send in joyful anticipation that there is no greater joy than to have throngs of largely unknown peoples known by our heavenly Father. As John states, there is “no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth” (3 John 4). Let us walk in such a way that our heavenly joyfulness will one day include today’s unknown and unreached peoples. Robert Savage said, “The command has been to ʻgo,ʼ but we have stayed — in body, gifts, prayer, and influence. He has asked us to be witnesses unto the uttermost parts of the earth. But 99% of Christians have kept puttering around in the homeland.” May we not be added to them, but may we boldly risk for the sake of the nations. *DAILY DEW 12/JUNE/2022* *THE WORK OF THE WATCHERS* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *“I've posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem. Day and night they keep at it, praying, calling out, reminding GOD to remember. They are to give him no peace until he does what he said, until he makes Jerusalem famous as the City of Praise."* (Isaiah 62:6-7 (The Message)) _Bible Insight:_ While you are busy admiring another man's Jerusalem, God is counting on you, to make your Jerusalem a praise in the earth, in other words, strong and famous, doing mighty things and being well spoken of. Are you still with me? Why are you busy criticizing and condemning when God is expecting you to use the same voice and time to intercede for that same Jerusalem of yours that you are castigating and writing off? God wouldn't be asking you to stand your watch as a watchman if your Jerusalem was perfect! Your workplace, office, family, church, fellowship, volunteer organization, or nation can be better. But you are busy looking for who to make it better for you when God is counting on you to contribute your quota towards the positive transformation of your Jerusalem? Don't play the ostrich. Quit the blame game. Fold your sleeves, and set to work. Make your membership become a blessing in your Jerusalem. That other man's Jerusalem you are desiring was made desirable by another person who woke up to his or her work as a watcher over her/his Jerusalem! Wake up to your own work over your Jerusalem as a watchman! Pray! But remember that the watchers' work does not begin and end in praying. You must also do your part. In Ezekiel 3:17 (KJV), it says *"Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me."* Your duties will include to warn, in the sense of, preaching the gospel of the positive change you desire (which should align with God's will) until you see it come to pass. And remember, when Jesus asked His disciples to pray for Laborers into His harvest, He was speaking to already enlisted labourers. So your praying without working towards that object is hypocrisy in action! Don't do that!
