*DAILY DEW 19/SEPTEMBER/2022* *BECOMING A PERSON OF POSITIVE IMPACT* _Key Bible Text:_ *"And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat."* (Genesis 3:6 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ YOU have been given a mandate in Christ Jesus. That mandate has generational dimensions. A generation refers to *"all of the people born and living at about the same time, regarded collectively."* This means that the mandate God has given every follower of Christ, when truly discovered and explored can affect everyone within the same generation, either directly or indirectly. *#Selah* Even when outside Christ, from creation God designed man with reproductive capacities as humans. Thus, man's sexual activity can affect his generation, because the child of the man can grow to become a person of generational impact like the late queen of the United Kingdom! The decisions you make determines the course and outcome of your life. Eve ate the fruit and gave to Adam. And the Lord said, *"what is this that thou has done? Do you realize the consequences of what you just did!?"* Indeed, Eve & Adam failed to realize that It was not just about them. Their generations & even countless generations after theirs are all affected. 1. We must never fail to understand that every instruction from Gen 1 to Revelation has generational & trans-generational implications. 2. In the context of destiny, little things matter. *DAILY DEW 10/JULY/2022* *WHAT DO YOU SEEK?* _Key Bible Text:_ *"When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek."* (Psalms 27:8 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ WE live in a generation of "possessing my possessions". We want to accumulate THINGS as evidence that we are BLESSED! But who is asking what exactly is God looking for from us? Is God more interested in giving us THINGs than He is with GIVING us HIMSELF? God calls you and I to seek HIS FACE! Are you seeking HIM? Are you holding on and beholding till you see HIS FACE (himself/presence) emerge right before you? Would you prefer HIS face to HIS hands (His gifts,presents)? When God called the Psalmist to seek His face, his response was clear-- *"my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek"* This sort of response must come from your heart otherwise you are not serious:"Thy face, Lord, will I seek" Would you make that your primary focus and confession whenever you come before God? Whether as you go to church, or as you go to pray with or without another? Would you rather be content seeking God's face, his very mind, his plans and His will? Or would you prefer to seek what YOU WANT from God? To Seek the face of God, here means to seek what HE WANTS FROM YOU and not what you want from him! Beloved, change your approach to God. Don't follow HIM for meat that perish! Follow for the imperishable, His Presence-- and not his presents. *DAILY DEW 9/JULY/2022* *SAVE AND INVEST* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Go to the ant, you hater of work; give thought to her ways and be wise: Having no chief, overseer, or ruler, She gets her meat in the summer, storing up food at the time of the grain-cutting. How long will you be sleeping, O hater of work? when will you get up from your sleep?"* (Proverbs 6:6-9(BBE)) _Bible Insight:_ I remember I was invited by a friend to speak to a unit in one of oceanic bank’s branches on the habit of saving. The bankers were laughing at me. They asked me who saving help. Some of these bankers lost their jobs some months later and were gasping for breath because they did not save any money while they worked. I’ve seen this happen again and again. Some work for 10 years or more, earning millions per month and per year and once they lose their jobs, they become paupers. If you see them, you would not believe that they ever earned N100,000. While the job lasted, they took all sorts of loans and bought cars that they were not qualified for, vacationed every summer with absolutely nothing in savings and investment. If you are sure you will die young, then by all means enjoy for tomorrow you will die. But if you plan to live long and you have a family that depends on you; please, don’t be foolish.
