Commitment to serve secured One of the greatest marks of a person who will take over nations forcefully is being a service oriented. Service is the language of this kingdom. There is nothing like saved to sit and watch others serve. Every kingdom high flyer is characterized by a hunger towards service. We don't serve because we are appreciated, we serve because we are designed to. We don't served because we are encouraged to, we serve because we are born into a life of service. Therefore, if we must take over nations, we must serve passionately, consistently and strategically. When you are sold out into a lifestyle of kingdom service, you will attract and raise others who will do likewise. *"And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."* 2 Timothy 2:2 (KJV) In this kingdom, like Christ, we are born servants. Exeriencing Transformation of lives in daily repentance & experience of growth We cannot speak of taking over nations just by corrections or by winning souls or by working miracles alone. For these to really achieve the fullness of purpose, it must translate to transformation of lives. In this Acts 19:19 we find a people who did not only claim to have been saved but openly burn their past life as it were. You cannot hold unto the old and the new. If anyone be in Christ, the newness of life must chase out the old man's life & ways. The old become counted as haven been crucified with Christ. At this point, you seek to please God above all else. And in seeking to please God, you are not only willing to repent but ready to do so immediately or as soon as necessary. Repentance is to transformation what a key is to a door. You cannot become tranformed until you embrace the key of repantance. There can never be correct christian growth until one is willing to take repentance as a daily medication. Not repentance of repeating promises and apologies that you have litle or no commitment to actually stop endulging in. _MEDITATION:_ *Repentance is for the unsaved and the saved alike. *DAILY DEW 6/DECEMBER/2023* *Dealing With Depression* (IV) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, Who is the help of my countenance, and my God."* (Psalms 42:11 (Amplified)) _Bible Insight:_ 4. Don't assume you know the best for yourself. Accept that God can use unpleasant situations and bad events for good in your life. This is perhaps one angle that cannot be overemphasized if one must stay ahead of depression. Never assume you know the best for yourself. Even King Hezekiah who thought extending his lifetime will be a great thing, ended up making the worst mistake of his life, in the extra years of his life. "Who him extra years of living help?" So don't be too sure you know what is best for you. Rather, trust God. Joseph would probably never have entered his destiny if he didn't have to suffer the hatred of his brothers, that led to his being sold as a slave. #Selah While a slave, he could have thought God was not with him or good enough to him. Because after God allowed his brothers to hate and sell him off, he could also had accused God for allowing him to be jailed for trying to please God, by not sleeping around. But rather than play God in his life or assumed he knew what was good or bad for him, he continued to walk with grace and gratitude, caring for others even in the prison. This eventually led to his "prison break to prime minister" story. Those challenges are not necessarily bad, you know. Those delayed answers to prayers, may be God answering you in a bigger and better way. Don't be too sure God is not helping or answering you. Sometimes, all you need do to send away that creepy depressing thought is to ask yourself: *"what if this place right here, this challenge I am facing right now, is exactly what God has in mind for me, knowing that it would work out my greater good?"* Dont be a perfectionist. Don't be an ITK (I too know). God knows better. Accept that God knows all. And ask him to fill you with peace. And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him."* (Mark 1:17-18 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ The saints that Jesus died for must become the saints that won't let his death go unsung, untold, uncelebrated and unannounced! *_Speaking Gospel_* The Gospel we are saved by and are called to preach is a speaking Gospel! Jesus said unto them! You & I are that "them" of today! The Gospel of Jesus must speak to you daily! The evidence that you have heard the speaking Gospel is when you too begin to recho the voice of the Gospel! What are you speaking today? Political news? Football news? Blog news? Entertainment news? Economic news? What you are speaking is a reflection of what you are hearing! Are you hearing the Gospel speak? *_Christ Seeking Gospel_* The Gospel must be all about Christ and Him crucified. If that is not the Focus, then it is not the Gospel. Not only that the Gospel must first make you a seeker of Christ, otherwise you have not truly received the Gospel. Those who truly come to Christ, must totally learn of Christ. I hear Jesus say, *"COME YE AFTER ME"* Do you? *_Men Making Gospel_* Christ seeks to make you! He says, I WILL MAKE YOU to become! WHATEVER you think you are today, can you say Christ made you that!? Anything you think you are or becoming that Christ has not made you into, is not the making of the Gospel! *_FISHERS OF MEN_* What Christ desires to make you become, is a fisher of men! God have not made you, until you become a fisher of men! That's the only thing Christ is proud to take credit for in your life! Even when you become a nurse, lawyer, Doctor, carpenter or furniture maker, fashion designer, markerter, CEO, farmer, teacher, accountant, or attendant or whatever you want, if you are not fishing men, Christ have not made you! *DAILY DEW 10/MAY/2023* *CALLED UNTO PEACE* _Key Bible Text:_ *"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful."* (Colossians 3:15 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ PEACE must define every believer in Christ because Peace defines God. Peace is very important to God. Jesus himself is called the Prince of Peace. "Grace" & "love" enjoys so much popularity among many believers, but unto God, "grace" or "love" exist because God values peace. We won't know what God's love looks like, if not for his pursuit and passion for Peace. Little wonder, Jesus shed his blood in pursuit of peace between God and man! (Col. 1:20) #Selah Romans twice defined God, not only with Grace but "God of Peace" (Rom. 15:33 & 16:20). There are several other references that shows how God loves peace. Thus it makes perfect sense when Jesus taught us that *"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God."* (Matthew 5:9 (KJV)) Like Jesus the begotten of the Father who sought to make peace between man and God, when we too value and pursue peace we register and establish ourselves as sons of God. We are living in a generation where violence is taken as sports and entertainment. 😥 Have you not noticed how without these: violence, revenge, treachery, betrayal, and such similar vices, we don't have best seller movies and highly rated shows!?
