*SPIRITUAL HOBBY*
_Key Bible Text:_
*"And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit."* (Ephesians 5:18 (KJV))
_Bible Insight:_
Every believer has a spiritual trigger, for some it could be worship; whenever they spend few minutes listening to an edifying song they quickly get connected and find their spirit activated.
For some its prayer; when someone passes by talking in tongues or they are in church that aspect of worship keeps them bound and often after minutes/hours of prayers they would wish the session could be elongated as they would want to excercise themselves more.
For some it could be spiritual retreats, camps, vigils, fasting etc.
Every genuinely born again must have something that triggers the spirit of God dwelling in them.
It is therefore required of the believer to intentionally practice his or her triggers on a daily basis or as more regular as could be. Take out time everyday to excercise the spirit.

*Faith Series: The Shield of Faith*
_Key Bible Text:_
*"Through Faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them."* (Hebrews 11:28 (KJV))
_Bible Insight:_
When God gives us instructions it is for our protection and profit. There is no directive in God's word that is not designed for our ultimate good. It requires faith to see this, believe it, and act upon it. Moses did just that!
When God determined to wipe out all first born male seeds of Egypt he devised an escape or protection plan for His people Israel, albeit through simple and not so simple instructions. Why simple, simple because it appears too ordinary to avert the certain danger and not so simple because it involves practices that they had never done before.
Exodus 12:6-12 reads almost like an action movie: *"Take special care of this chosen animal until the evening of the fourteenth day of this first month. Then the whole assembly of the community of Israel must slaughter their lamb or young goat at twilight. They are to take some of the blood and smear it on the sides and top of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the animal.*"
*"That same night they must roast the meat over a fire and eat it along with bitter salad greens and bread made without yeast. Do not eat any of the meat raw or boiled in water. The whole animal—including the head, legs, and internal organs—must be roasted over a fire. Do not leave any of it until the next morning. Burn whatever is not eaten before morning."*
*"These are your instructions for eating this meal: Be fully dressed, wear your sandals, and carry your walking stick in your hand. Eat the meal with urgency, for this is the Lord's Passover. On that night I will pass through the land of Egypt and strike down every firstborn son and firstborn male animal in the land of Egypt. I will execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt, for I am the Lord!"*
It requires Faith to obey the above instructions. Likewise, every word of God, requires Faith. When we believe God and all He says, we will not have trouble acting in Obedience. We struggle to obey, because some part of our minds think that God cannot be serious about what He said we should do.
_MEDITATION:_
*Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.* (Ephesians 6:16 (KJV))

*Spirit-Led Evangelism*
_Key Bible Text:_
*"He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God."* (Acts 10:3-4 (KJV))
_Bible Insight:_
Evangelism is basically obeying the instruction to preach to every creature. However, we are also led specifically by the Spirit to people.
One Saturday, as we prayed before we set out, I saw a vision of myself in a particular location with a young man. While still pondering on the vision, the Holy Ghost revealed to me that people have had places dropped in their hearts by the Spirit also.
I quickly responded by saying everyone should go to the exact place they saw as we prayed and interestingly, everyone had seen a location. That day, people went to places as far as 2-3 buses away. Someone went to a specific shop she saw with a woman wearing the specific dress and colour she saw, with her daughter too.
I remember seeing myself on a bridge with a young man wearing a particular jeans short - it was two buses away. I obeyed and found the exact figure I saw on that same bridge and he was the only one there. For many who had such specifics, it was so timely reaching those people. You see that thing God did for Cornelius and his family through Peter? He is still doing it today!
_MEDITATION:_
*Learn to be open to the leading of the Spirit as you set out to share your faith. Sometimes, it just reminds you that what you are doing is not ordinary! You are in partnership with the living God!*

*Faith Series: Righteous Rebels-- The Rebellion of Faith*
_Key Bible Text:_
*"By Faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.â€* (Hebrews 11:23 (KJV))
_Bible Insight:_
When against God, every rebellion is sin. When against man, some rebellion is righteousness before God. Most acts of Faith, are acts of rebellion against acceptable norms and traditions of men.
When Moses' parents refused to heed the King's command concerning the killing of all male born children, they rebelled against the constituted authority of men. However, what was a rebellious act to man, was an act of Faith before God. His parents were righteous rebels.
Righteous rebels align with God's righteous standards and requirements, albeit in defiance to and to the chagrin of man-made laws and traditions. Righteous rebels are people of Faith, who are determined to obey God rather than men.
Are you a righteous rebel? Would you rather obey God and follow His Standards even if it provokes man made commands and procedures?
It takes Faith and fearlessness to demonstrate a 'rebellious' righteousness.
_MEDITATION:_
*"By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;"* (Hebrews 11:24-25 (KJV)

*DAILY DEW 3RD/FEBRUARY/2022*
*We are what we behold.* (II)
_Key Bible Text:_
*"We must keep our eyes on Jesus, who leads us and makes our faith complete. He endured the shame of being nailed to a cross, because he knew that later on he would be glad he did. Now he is seated at the right side of God's throne! So keep your mind on Jesus, who put up with many insults from sinners. Then you won't get discouraged and give up.â€* (Hebrews 12:2-3 (CEV))
_Bible Insight:_
You may not intend to be seductive, but if you always follow people whose displays are seductive; all the scriptures you know will not prevent your dressing and your posing from being seductive, when you show up.
We are what we behold
Follow godly people, bury yourself daily in your Bible, stay in prayer with your heart fixed on the Lord Jesus, surround yourself with books on revival, and holiness, and consecration, and sound doctrine.
Then go to the studio and take a picture.
The humility of Christ will saturate the entire frame. The glory of the Father will dim every other glow. His fire in your eyes will outshine the make-up on them. The presence of the Lord will overshadow all other beauty
_MEDITATION:_
*"People will not stare because they are attracted, they will gaze because a fire has lit up their hearts. I tell you, the difference will be clear."*
