*DAILY DEW 21/SEPTEMBER/2023* *Small advice for believers.* _Key Bible Text:_ *"*And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him."* (Numbers 7:89 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Have a notebook where you write down prophecies and instructions which you receive in public meetings or in your private meetings with the Lord. Go into the place of prayer with your Bible and your notebook. Prophecies are tools for spiritual warfare, and materials for building our destined future in God. Don't joke with them. Capture them. Go back over them and meditate. Pray into them, and rejoice over them. Your best days are here. One thing I have learnt is the importance of the prophetic in preparing us for the future. One simple way to define prophecy is: "God speaking to us". Prophecy is an entrance into the mind of God. Every Believer is prophetic in a sense. We all have the Spirit of God and can therefore know the mind of God. But there are also those who stand in the office of the Prophet. And their role is very important. Please don't underestimate the prophetic in preparing you for the future. Guard prophetic words given to you. They can save you from unnecessary troubles. They can give you speed. One way to activate the prophetic is to be given to much prayers. God speaks back when we speak to Him. When we make out time to worship God and seek Him in prayers, God will minister back to us, and show us things to come. *DAILY DEW 14/JUNE/2023* *GWR vs GWR* _Key Bible Text:_ *"For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise."* (2 Corinthians 10:12 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Hilda Baci started the cooking on Thursday 11th may and ended on Monday 15th may. Since she finished, everybody have been celebrating her with reservations including herself because it's not victory yet until the right quarters says so. It doesn't take Hilda to approve herself neither does it take the onlookers. In one of her posts she was praying for the GWR to acknowledge her success and announce her as the record breaker. Nobody's acknowledgement will ever satisfy her except that of Guinness. No matter the book you write her name, it won't be satisfying to her as it would be to her when it appears inside the Guinness book of record. When they finally want to give their results, what they announced turned out to be different from what we all had in mind. From their own findings, the hours were reduced and it turned out to be different from all our assumptions because they don't judge the way we judge. What does all of these teaches us because we learn from everything and everywhere as wise Christians. It is God who justifies.... It is God who will give results to men. He doesn't see the way we do. It's unwise to rejoice because men approved you when you have not received heavenly approval. It's dangerous to be rejoicing because your name is filled in all the books and registers in your church whereas it's not present in the lambs book of life. It's unwise to judge things before the time. There will surely be great surprises on the last day because the people you think would be in heaven because of your human assessment might be conspicuously absent. If Samuel at the level of his prophetic would have mistakenly anointed Eliab instead of David then get ready for more surprises. _MEDITATION:_ *"Calm down. Be conscious of what heaven is saying. Don't be carried away by the eulogies and encomium Men might be pouring on you here. *DAILY DEW 31/DECEMBER/2022* *THE DEMANDS OF GROWTH* _Key Bible Text:_ *"But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."* (1 Corinthians 15:10 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ You won't commit to a local church for the necessary devotions, commitment and accountability that will guarantee proper and solid spiritual development, but you are looking for mentors and fathers on social media. ko le work. You desire growth, repent and devote yourself to 1. Fellowship. 2. Prayers. 3. The small groups in your church, e.g. your unit, Bible study group, Sunday School group, etc 4. Take delivery of the doctrines of your local church. Get MP3s. Take training and classes. When you miss a meeting, get the recording and hear it over and over. 5. Join a service group in your local church. Don't just be a 'member' be a worker! 6. Start soulwinning, and make it your goal to always bring one person to church every Sunday. 7. Become fully subscribed to the financial stewardship practiced in your church, and be faithful to it. With a good library added to the above and the great instructors in the body of Christ, you will have no need for a Zuckerberg Zaddy. Instructors abound to supply what's lacking in your local church assembly, stop floating around. Everything I know about faith, the supernatural, healing, etc didn't come from my local church. I got them from instructors, but my church raised me in integrity, living right, accountability, and walking in righteousness. *Uprooting yourself from the local church for every small itch is unspiritual, and unscriptural. Take roots and blossom where God planted you.* The Bible says God has placed every member of the family in the body as it pleased him. Some of us in a big church will be lost and never achieve height and stature, while others in a small church will not. Devoting yourself and giving 100% commitment to your local church will change your worship experience. Get a print Bible, a jotter, and a pen, listen to your Pastor teach, taking notes, and you will find you have been taking one of the finest teachers for granted all this while because while he taught, you were fumbling with your phone and posting nonsense on social media. Sing and dance during the praise session next Sunday during the worship, and you will find your church praise team is better than you thought. You are suffering from irreverence. It takes a level of reverence to have fellowship with God. Going to the airport and taking a flight are two different things. The filth and lust in secular entertainment are the worlds we are warned to not love. Go through (censor) the lyrics of the music, and comedy you subject your righteous soul to every day! Why not separate yourself, and come clean for God to clean, fill up and use? And that your boyfriend/ girlfriend that is tempting and tripping you into fornication will have to go too! 😐 You cannot enter without departing first from everything and everyone that's feeding, and empowering your flesh through lust. No believer has ever flirted with the world and survived it. All Lot did was pitch his tent toward Sodom, he slowly, but surely ended up in Sodom. Sister, what is it with your sudden closeness with hook up advocates? Why is your page suddenly littered with your half-naked pictures? You are too saved to live a carnally permissive life. *It is time to be desperate unto purpose and God. You cannot live your life like the unsaved!* You are the righteousness of God in Christ. God saved you early to prevent sinful damage to your soul. Don't squander the blessings of early salvation in licentious permissiveness. Those your harlot panties don't belong to where God is bringing you. Dress wholesome with shamefacedness. Sister, stop spoiling your prayers looking like the whore that you are not! Dress well. Dress right. Cover your body properly. It makes no sense to look like the loose person that you are not. What's the hypocrisy of having what you wear to church, and what you can wear everywhere else but church? Holiness isn't about the meeting place, it is the ever-abiding presence of God that makes you holy. No, you cannot dress as the world dictates, you are different, you are not of this world, you are of God. Whatever you can't wear to church meetings, doesn't belong to your wardrobe. Your wardrobe must not be against you, by misrepresenting you. Moses was confused for an Egyptian because of the robe he had on. What's all that piercing and tattoo about. After all these years in the faith, it is the tattoo that you crave. Wearing clothes that could barely cover you enough isn't growth, it is degeneration! You want to be radical, cast out devils, and heal the sick, not by tiding to worldly influences.
