Enlisting to win others This flows from a lifestyle of service. You cannot serve successfully until you begin to win others who will do likewise. This is not just winning souls per se. This is "winning" soul winners. The difference is the same found in fishing and raising fishermen. This is the level of taking over nations where you rise to be like a captain over other soldiers who are bent on winning souls. Until we get to this level, we still have a long way to go. This should actually be the goal we all should aim for. To come to a point where we don't just go out to win souls but we raise others to join us in doing the same. This is God's wisdom in taking over nations. Jesus came, not just as a soul winner but as a winner of soul winners. No wonder he said, "follow me and I will make you fishers of men". If we are maturing in being like Christ, we need to get to a point where we can say the same or at least live the same way-- that when men follow you, they become fishers of men! Commitment to serve secured One of the greatest marks of a person who will take over nations forcefully is being a service oriented. Service is the language of this kingdom. There is nothing like saved to sit and watch others serve. Every kingdom high flyer is characterized by a hunger towards service. We don't serve because we are appreciated, we serve because we are designed to. We don't served because we are encouraged to, we serve because we are born into a life of service. Therefore, if we must take over nations, we must serve passionately, consistently and strategically. Exeriencing Transformation of lives in daily repentance & experience of growth We cannot speak of taking over nations just by corrections or by winning souls or by working miracles alone. For these to really achieve the fullness of purpose, it must translate to transformation of lives. In this Acts 19:19 we find a people who did not only claim to have been saved but openly burn their past life as it were. You cannot hold unto the old and the new. If anyone be in Christ, the newness of life must chase out the old man's life & ways. The old become counted as haven been crucified with Christ. At this point, you seek to please God above all else. And in seeking to please God, you are not only willing to repent but ready to do so immediately or as soon as necessary. Repentance is to transformation what a key is to a door. You cannot become tranformed until you embrace the key of repantance. There can never be correct christian growth until one is willing to take repentance as a daily medication. Not repentance of repeating promises and apologies that you have litle or no commitment to actually stop endulging in. _MEDITATION:_ *Repentance is for the unsaved and the saved alike. *DAILY DEW 21/DECEMBER/2023* *Levels of Taking Over Nations* (III) _Key Bible Text:_ *"And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen."* (Mark 16:20 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ 3. Manifesting Signs and wonders To take over nations, we must be like Christ in terms of being agents of the supernatural power of God. We cannot afford to shy away from this. *"For our gospel came not unto you in word only, BUT ALSO IN POWER, AND IN THE HOLY GHOST, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake."* (1 Thessalonians 1:5 (KJV)) This is however not something we do by our own power. *"The Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs"* Our part is to do the work, and the Lord will work with us and confirm His Word with signs. It is one of the ways, we as co-workers with God, assure ourselves that God indeed is with us. It is also one of the ways that those who observe us or hear about us, come to conviction, that we have been sent by God. *DAILY DEW 20/DECEMBER/2023* *Levels of Taking Over Nations* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise."* (Proverbs 11:30 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ 2.Soul winning. This is joining forces with God and being an instrument that will lead a lost sinner back to God. A soul winner understands that it is not about himself but about the glory of God and the salvation of lost souls. All souls are lost and doomed until they come to the saving knowledge of Jesus. *"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."* (Romans 3:23 (KJV)) A Soul winner knows beyond doubt that only Jesus can save. Christ is not an option in the way to salvation, but the only hope left. *"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."* (Acts 4:12 (KJV)) To become an instrument to accomplish soul winning in God's hands, all the forces earlier mentioned in this series, must be appreciated and applied. Forces of prayer, love and compassion, Patience, perseverance and longsuffering, selflessness etc.. Little wonder, those who win souls are wise. Are you wise?
