*DAILY DEW 10/MARCH/2025* *That I may see & know Jesus* _Key Bible Text:_ *"But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus."* (John 21:4 (KJV)) _Bible Insight_ _A Surprising Encounter_ After a long and unfruitful night of fishing, the disciples were exhausted and disappointed. But as the morning dawned, Jesus appeared on the shore, watching over them with love and care. However, the disciples did not recognize Him, highlighting their spiritual blindness and lack of expectation. _The Need for Spiritual Sight_ This encounter emphasizes the need for spiritual sight and discernment. The disciples had spent three years with Jesus, learning from Him and witnessing His miracles. Yet, in this moment, they failed to recognize Him. This teaches us that spiritual recognition and understanding require more than just physical presence or familiarity. We need the eyes of faith to see and recognize Jesus in our lives. _The Gift of Recognition_ The fact that the disciples did not recognize Jesus until later (John 21:7) underscores the gift of recognition that comes from God. Spiritual recognition is not based on human effort or merit but on God's gracious revelation.
