*DAILY DEW 27/MARCH/2024* *WAYS OF DARKNESS* (III) _Key Bible Text:_ *"You will be able to resist any immoral woman who tries to seduce you with her smooth talk, who is faithless to her own husband and forgets her sacred vows."* Proverbs 2:16-17 (GNB) _Bible Insight:_ A person of insight or discretion and understanding will shun immoral ways. Those who follow the opposite sex as a means of experimenting sexual relations and acts, are void of understanding. They are walking in the ways of darkness. Those who indulge in using sexual advances to secure advancement in life are without insight and understanding. Those who have perfected the habit of tempting others to fall into sexual perversion lack discretion. Those they succeed in enticing are also without understanding. I know a young man who allowed himself to be visited by a lady, whom he met on Facebook. He even sent transport fare. The lady was to stay with him for the period of the visit. Of course, they ate the forbidden fruit while at it. They lacked discretion and understanding was far from them. Those who forget their vows to their spouses or to their maker, and indulge in sexual infidelity are without discretion and understanding. They are following the ways of darkness and will surely end in eternal death if they don't repent! _MEDITATION:_ *If you go to her house, you are traveling the road to death. To go there is to approach the world of the dead. No one who visits her ever comes back. You have discretion when you have insight into a matter. Understanding gives you the needed vantage point to make informed decisions. With insight and understanding, you will shun the path of violence. You will avoid speaking in ways that can lead to trouble. Instead, you will open your mouth and deliver or boost peace. Insight and understanding makes you a person who will not enjoy or tolerate wrong doing. Anyone who enjoys evil or condones it, lack discretion and understanding. I know a man who dealt with a man that cannot be trusted. His wife raised concerns but he didn't listen. As you read this, the man is still looking for how to recover about 45 Million Naira he invested in the hands of that fellow.
