*DAILY DEW 21/MARCH/2023* *FORMING THE RIGHT CONVICTIONS* (III) _Key Bible Text:_ *"One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind."* (Romans 14:5 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Every goal getter and achiever takes time to form the right conviction about every important subject or matter. They don't leave them to chance or stay indifferent. They consciously work towards having netter knowledge, which inturn leads to a proper solid conviction on the matter. I suggest the following areas as aspects needing deliberate and intentional formation of conviction. In other words, the following issues are well settled for me. I can only grow positively in my convictions about them. I suggest you adopt them too. 1. I am totally convinced that only Jesus can save. There is no other name given amongst men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) 2. I am thouroughly persuaded that without Holiness no eyes shall see the Lord. I rest my conviction on this issue, in this verse among many others: *"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure."* (1 John 3:2-3 (KJV)) No one truly believes in Jesus and his second return or rapture, while at the same time, compromising, excusing, tolerating and indulging in habitual sins. 3. I am totally convinced that sex outside of marriage is sin. I never try to excuse it or rationalize such acts as cohabitation or sex before marriage. As one who once erred in the distant past, I don't forget in a hurry how the Holy Spirit kept dealing with me back then, until I repented and shunned such works of darkness. *Let marriage be held in honor (esteemed worthy, precious, of great price, and especially dear) in all things.
