*DAILY DEW 10TH/FEBRUARY/2022* *Faith Series: The Shield of Faith* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *"By Faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned."* (Hebrews 11:29 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ When you really think about the crossing of the red sea, you will know that it requires Faith, for Moses and Israel to cross the red sea on dry land. Why did the sea not swallow them? Was it that they were not afraid that it was possible they would be drowned? Has it happened before that anybody walked through the sea? Not at all. Indeed, Faith played a great role. Faith is a shield that protects us from the dangers that are associated with uncertainties. Faith does not shield us by taking us away from peril, but it shields us by keeping us safe inspite of the peril. What about the walls of Jericho that fell down flat without harming the children of Israel but instead created an opportunity for them to overpower their enemies?
