*DAILY DEW 23/NOVEMBER/2024* *Pride & Foolish Talking* _Key Bible Text:_ *"In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them."* Proverbs 14:3 (KJV) _Bible Insight_ Nabal's foolish response to David's men, eventually led to his early grave. If you won't help, you can as well politely refuse to help. Instead, when asked for a favor, Nabal retorted, *"David? Who is he? I've never heard of him! The country is full of runaway slaves nowadays! I'm not going to take my bread and water, and the animals I have butchered for my sheepshearers, and give them to people who come from I don't know where!"* That was not a decline to help, that was an insult & a go-to-hell tell off. The wife smiled and looked at him and said, "If not for me, you won't become a president." Underestimate the power of a woman at your own peril.
