I'll be teaching us a special food recipe.
This particular food has proven to be healthy, tasty and exceptional.
I named it, THE STOCKFISH EGG STEW.ðŸ˜
Actually, the first time I posted this recipe online I got several reactions from people. Alot complained about the ingredients combination and all.
Some said it'll never be tasty, some said it won't work, some said stockfish plus egg looks weird etc.
And I realized that people are just used to the normal everyday food and no one wants to try something different.
Well I have, that's why I'm sharing this with you.
The few persons who have tasted this meal were all amazed and they said they were going to try it.
Ingredients.
Stockfish (flesh/meaty part)
Raw eggs (about 2 or 3).
Tomatoes (Sachet/Tin preferably)
Vegetable/groundnut oil.
Crayfish (grinded one).
Onions.
Pepper.
Seasoning cubes
Salt.
Procedure:
Actually, the quantity of the ingredients above is relative to the quality of stockfish egg stew you want to make.
But basically let it be moderate.
1) Boil your stock fish in water for about 5-10mins so it becomes very soft. Please don't add salt while boiling.
2) Slice your onions, pepper, tomatoes (if it's fresh tomatoes you finally got).
3) Then add moderate quantity of groundnut oil on an empty pot, allow it for few seconds on fire, then pour your onions.
4) Then keeping stirring like you are making a normal stew. If you've not made stew before 🙄 don't worry. Keep turning and stirring. Please don't allow it to fry too much.
5) Add your tomatoes and stir for about a minute.
6) Then break your eggs inside the pot and stir.
7) At this stage you'll realize the combination will be very thick. Please add very little water, salt, pepper and then add your grinded crayfish and stir.
8) Add other ingredients and spices to taste and stir.
9) Then add your boiled stockfish to the combination ðŸ˜ðŸ˜.
10) Taste the stew and know if you need to add extra salt or spices. Then close your pot and allow to boil for two minutes.
11) Welcome to the STOCKFISH EGG STEW club ðŸ˜ðŸ˜. You can serve with boiled rice, beans, yam or you can even eat with bread.

Emmmm. Lest I forget, the idea of the stock fish stew is to have little little chunks of it in the stew so you can eat alongside the food.
So try to break the stock fish in small quantities.
