*CAST THE BAD AWAY*
_Key Bible Text:_
*Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.* (Matthew 13:47-48 (KJV))
_Bible Insight_:
Jesus used another parable once again to emphasize the process of selecting or separating the sons of the kingdom from the sons of iniquity. It is a careful hand selection process. He used the illustration involved in picking out fishes from the waste or lots after a great catch of the net in a fishing outing.
God is going to be very meticulous at the end of this world. Yes, this world with all it's many facets and seemingly non stop activities and businesses will one day come to an 'abrupt' end. In Matthew 13:49-50 (KJV), we read *"So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and SEVER the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."*
This then must remind us that even Jesus, the perfect example of love and the express image of the God head, taught about hell, a place of anguish, pain, regrets and sorrow. However, this is not for anyone who follows Chris sincerely and completely rather than follow the typical ways of this world.
*MEDITATION*
*If we pay attention to what Jesus paid attention to, even as seen in His life and teachings, we will never miss the Kingdom!*
