Guard your heart! The strange (wo)man manipulates the unguarded heart. From the earliest opportunity, propose in your heart to never have anything to do with the strange (wo)man. Propose in your heart to live a sexually pure life. Propose in your heart to never trust yourself when it comes to issues of sexual immorality and temptations. Don't fancy and don't indulge it. Build a mindset that never takes for granted issues of the strange (wo)man! 15. Many strong (wo)men have been slain! Godly sisters with great potential of raising godly families and doing exploits for God have been slain on the altar of the strange man! Sweet talking men have lured them away, misled by their desire for either money or deceitful promise of marriage etc. Dear sister, don't go down the path of destruction with a strange man! Dear brother, guard against the strange woman! Many strange women have brought down strong men. Many mighty men of God have been reduced to nothing overnight on the laps of the strange woman! 10 minutes of pleasure have shattered a lifetime of building a godly ministry or marriage or career or reputation! (5) 12. Enticing speeches. Use sweetness of tongue to make your marriage work. Use wise and soft spokeness to reconcile brethren or show superior argument. Use good command of words to bring light, understanding and good works to pass. Don't use enticing speech to lure people to sin, or to make people feel pressured to do what is wrong. 13. What are you going after? In life, if something or someone is not going after you, you are going after something or someone. Or even both at the same time! What are you going after? Be careful of what you are consciously or unconsciously going after. In the end, everyone ends up where they are heading, more or less! For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey* (Proverbs 7:18-19 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ There are attributes that characterize the strange (wo)man! (4) 10. Love. Not every mention or use of the word love will be God glorifying. Even though "God is Love", there is no God or godliness in many cases when love is claimed among men. Many "I love you" is nothing but the language of the strange (wo)man. But there is a place for godly exercise of love where one can indeed fill one love till the morning- that's within marriage. 11. The goodman (woman) is not at home. The strange (wo)man is full of cheating and deceit. They cannot be trusted and are always finding excuses to defile or breach their marriage vows. *DAILY DEW 8/JUNE/2024* *THE APPLE OF YOUR EYES* (2) _Key Bible Text:_ *Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman.* (Proverbs 7:3-4 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Making God's word the apple of our eyes will mean taking God's word seriously! -To write them upon the tables of our heart! This would mean to store it up in our heart and have it deeply embedded in us. Writing is not as simple as reading. Writing forces or exerts more energy. Writing involves the writer more. You think as you write and you ensure what you write is properly put. Our hearts will be written upon anyways. It is for us to intentionally direct what we write on the tables of our heart. We must be determined to write God's word upon our hearts otherwise other things will occupy the tables of our heart! -To call wisdom your sister & understanding your kinswoman! Take wisdom and understanding as cherished family members. Don't treat them lightly. Only the word of God brings out wisdom and understanding. *DAILY DEW 7/JUNE/2024* *THE APPLE OF YOUR EYES* _Key Bible Text:_ *My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.* (Proverbs 7:1-2 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ I am used to knowing that I am the apple of God's eyes. But today's passage reminded me that God want me to keep His word as the apple of my eyes. It is such a needed reminder. We come to God with a PARASITIC mindset a lot. It is always about what to get or gain, what to receive from God and how God will bless us. We usually don't remember or consider that God needs us to come to him with a SYMBIOTIC mindset. He wants to benefit from our lives too. We are the apple of His eyes, so he wants us to keep His word as the apple of our own eyes too. He loved us first, so we should love him in return. He sent his son to die for us, so he could raise from us (humanity) many sons like Christ! _MEDITATION:_ *"If you call God a business man you are not far from the truth.
