*DAILY DEW 13/MARCH/2023* *MISSIONS TRIP!* _Key Bible Text:_ *"It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."* (Acts 15:25-26 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ You have a job that allows you LEAVE for ONE MONTH but you'd rather spend the leave in the village or on vacation, never going for a MISSIONS TRIP yet wondering why some of us are carrying Jesus on our heads? I wish I wasn't the one saying this so it won't be like I'm speaking out of a point of ANGER - God sees my heart that I AM NOT. Your LEAVE can be taken to visit a mission field to join other believers to PREACH, HEAL and DELIVER, (with or) without any social media hypes around. Stop being afraid that something evil will happen to you - that's what the devil wants to do to you; he wants you to hear only about those missionaries who died on the mission field but will never allow you see men who have gone to difficult places where Christ isn't allowed yet they are here today. These are men who left high paying jobs and are now, according to the judgement of men, AT THE MERCY OF OTHERS. *DAILY DEW 12/MARCH/2023* *LET THEM GROW!* _Key Bible Text:_ *"But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."* (2 Peter 3:18 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Nobody was born a firebrand, let your 'fireless' Pastor too GROW. Comparing him with Apostle this, Prophet that is unnecessary and I see it as SPIRITUAL CHILDISHNESS. Nobody was born with a car, let your husband buy his own too. Comparing him with your father or the husband of your sister or friend or even your 'crush preacher ' is bad and I see it as MANIPULATION that can frustrate a well-meaning good man. Nobody was born a GREAT CHEF, let your wife become better and allow her make her mistakes too. Comparing her to your Mum is actually BABYISH and you are only causing more harm than good to yourself. You can't be comparing people who genuinely love you to those who can flee from you at any given time of crisis just because of mistakes that are consistent with the human nature, made by them. Allow people grow and not for selfish reasons, let them be able to say to you after years that YOU HAVE EARNED MY TRUST AND YOU HAVE STAYED THROUGH THE YEARS. Don't jump between camps and belong nowhere at the end. The person giving 'bouncing prophecies' today might just need to stay around you the 'accurate prophet' for 6 months and he might end up becoming 'accurate' like you too but because he gave prophecies that bounced in two of your meetings, you didn't even give him the benefit of the doubt that HE MIGHT JUST BE GROWING and NEEDS TUTORING. I understand there are those who might be difficult to correct or even help but don't shut your eyes against ALL like no mistake is permitted around you. *DAILY DEW 11/MARCH/2023* *The Tragedy of Knowledge Without Application* (V) _Key Bible Text:_ *"He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."* (Daniel 3:25 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Oppositions, persecution, and adversity in God's hands, becomes the platform that God sometimes uses to show himself as the awesome and wonderful God that He is. "The fourth man in the fire" is one of the titles I love to call God. Imagine if these three friends of Daniel had not risked being thrown into a burning furnace. Perhaps, never shall we discover this literal interpretation and manifestation of God and His promise to us. Pls take note that no where else in recorded scripture, did we read of an episode where God literally stood with his loyal subjects in the fire of a raging burning furnace. Our standing up and keeping faith in God, in the face of several challenges, temptations, oppositions and difficulties reveals another aspect of God in and through our lives. See every challenge to stand up for your faith, to obey God, at the risk of suffering for so doing, as a unique opportunity to experience God in a new dimension. _MEDITATION:_ *"But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. *DAILY DEW 10/MARCH/2023* *The Tragedy of Knowledge Without Application* (IV) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego... And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace."* (Daniel 3:19-20 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Indomie and spaghetti Christianity is that type that despises difficulties and suffering for the sake of faith in God. Many claim to believe in Jesus, but will never fancy that kind of life Jesus lived-- one of suffering for what he did not do, all because He was bound to please His heavenly Father. Stomach infrastructure Christianity is that type that lacks the spine and conviction to say "NO" to that which will not please God, for fear of falling out of favour with men or losing their earthly privileges, or earthly friendships/connections. Indeed the fear of men is a snare. *"The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe."* (Proverbs 29:25 (KJV)) Spineless Christianity and boldless Christianity does more harm than good. The world is NOT meant to embrace that believer who shuns her worldliness and ungodliness. That charmeleon Christianity that tries to play it safe, with one leg in the Lord and the other in the world, is nothing but a town hall different from bala blue, that is to say, nonsense gibberish. *"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you."* John 15:18 (KJV) My friend, if the world is not hating you, then you are not behaving like Jesus, whom the world hated. The world will surely hate on those who rejects her ways and shun her standards. John 15:19 (KJV) says *"If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."* Are you seeking the praise and friendship of this world? Then you are not serious to walk with God. Let those who will follow Jesus in carrying their cross daily, brace up for the persecution that will be the evidence of those who will lead a godly life in this generation. There is no other way. There is no middle ground. It is the tragedy of this age, that the church seeks to be a side chick of the world while at the same time married to Jesus. _MEDITATION:_ *"Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. *DAILY DEW 9/MARCH/2023* *The Tragedy of Knowledge Without Application* (III) _Key Bible Text:_ *"If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up."* (Daniel 3:17-18 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ The world will try to bend you into its mold. It will try to change you to suit its demands. The world will never spare you or let you be different from the rest of the world. The moment you desire to stand out for God, the world will rally around to make you become like "them". "If you can't beat them, join them" is the mantra of the world. The world pushes its narrative and ways of doing things by winning the majority over. "Majority carries the vote" is the goal. The world is designed to deceive the majority so that by following the majority you have a false sense of doing what is right. The standard of what is right or wrong as far as this world is concerned, is fast being determined by whatever the majority considers right. Do not let the world lure you away from the unpopular truth by the popular facts that are brandished as truth and norms and what is generally acceptable. There should be no surprises about this phenomenon. The world is only following its grand master and ultimate king. 1 John 5:19 says *"We know ...that the world around us is under the control of the evil one."* (NLT) The World does not follow the plan of God on its own. Only believers who embrace God's word and defy the world's ways that can uphold and instil the standards of God. Aside this, the world is bound on a downward course away from God and towards the devil's destructive fate. As a result, God's people must be so convinced and fully resolute to stand by the truth of God's word. We will never have God's way prevail on this earth unless we defy the world's ways. The world's ways will flow as a matter of course, but God's ways will only stand as a matter of force of conviction and sacrifice of convenience. _MEDITATION:_ *"Until and except your mind is made up for God and His word to do His biddings, the world will influence and lure you away from the light of God's truth!
