ASSURANCE OF SALVATION What is Assurance? The Hebrew word for assurance is “betach” while the Greek term is “plerophoria” which means “Full confidence” or “Full conviction.” Assurance of salvation is the believer’s full conviction that he is in the present possession of a salvation in which he will be eternally kept.
