ASSURANCE OF SALVATION

Assurance of salvation is the believer’s full conviction that he is in the present possession of a salvation in which he will be eternally kept. This assurance is a result of his perfect righteousness in Christ Jesus.
Note: A person may have eternal security and lack personal assurance. It is true of Pentecostal brethren concept (Isa. 32:7; 2Tim 1:12).
