*DAILY DEW 29/JULY/2025* *The Anointing and Faith* _Key Bible Text:_ *"And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed [them]. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching."* (Mark 6: 5-6) _Bible Insight_ In Mark 6:5-6, Jesus' ability to perform mighty works is hindered by the people's unbelief in His hometown. This passage highlights the importance of faith in receiving God's blessings and miracles. When we believe in God's power and promises, we open ourselves to experiencing His mighty works. The anointing of God is available to all believers, but its manifestation is often tied to our level of faith. Jesus' marveling at the people's unbelief underscores the significance of faith in releasing God's power. As believers, we must cultivate faith that trusts in God's ability to work mightily in our lives. Despite the lack of faith, Jesus continues to go "round about the villages, teaching."
