*DAILY DEW 8/NOVEMBER/2024* *Your Attitude To God's Word* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded."* Proverbs 13:13 (KJV) _Bible Insight_ Jesus used the story of one building on the rock and one building on the sand to illustrate the different attitudes towards his word. You can hear the word, fear the word and obey the word. Or You can hear the word, despise or ignore the word, and disobey the word. Whichever attitude you adopt, is fine until you face the consequences either in time or in eternity or both! It is entirely up to you to decide and work on the kind of attitude you approach God's word with. Don't approach God's word with the following kinds of attitude- 1. Overfamiliarity 2. It does not matter 3. It can't be that serious 4. God understands 5. I am better than my neigbour Or I am not that bad 6. Procrastination 7. I will ask for forgiveness after These are the types of attitudes to watch out for. Sometimes we unconsciously slip into them. Which one of them can you easily relate with? Which of them can you honestly say you are guilty of?
