But if you live right, you will be as secure as a tree with deep roots."* Proverbs 12:3 (CEV) . Sin cannot offer security. Wickedness cannot be better than righteousness. Short cuts cannot lead you to great heights of success. In a more relatable expression, academic excellence achieved through hard work and diligence surpasses any success gained through examination malpractice. Business boom achieved by shortcuts, corruption, deceits and unfair practices cannot compare with business breakthrough achieved through consistent good ethics and hard work. Career success achieved through compromise and unhealthy relationships or corrupt connections cannot equate or surpass career success achieved through competence and diligence. These few examples conveys the message.
