*DAILY DEW 09/AUGUST/2024* *DON'T TROUBLE YOUR FAMILY* _Key Bible Text:_ *He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.* Proverbs 11:29 (KJV) _Bible Insight_ Proverbs 11:29 Those who bring trouble on their families will have nothing at the end. Foolish people will always be servants to the wise. (GNB) Proverbs 11:29 The troubler of his house will have the wind for his heritage, and the foolish will be servant to the wise-hearted. (BBE) Proverbs 11:29 Fools who cause trouble in the family won't inherit a thing. They will end up as slaves of someone with good sense. (CEV) ..... THE idea of troubling one's family does not sound like something anyone will want to do. But there are different ways people consciously or unconsciously trouble their families. One example is comparison. Always bringing your family up in order to talk about it in the light of what you noticed in other families. This when done excessively can bring about discontent and discouragement. Focus on your family. Mind your family. Learn and appreciate its uniqueness and study to see how to better your lot and not disdain or condemn what is obtainable. Spouses should not compare their partners with others or their ex.
