*DAILY DEW 30/APRIL/2024* *A Father's Instructions* (3) _Key Bible Text:_ *"For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother. He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.* (Proverbs 4:3-4 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ William Wordsworth in the year 1802, wrote the poem "My Heart Leaps Up". In it, he used the phrase, “Child is the Father of Man”. This can also be rendered as the boy is the father of the man! *"The term basically means that the behaviour and activities of a person's childhood go a long way in building his personality."* In Proverbs 4:1-4, verse 1 takes its justification first in verse 2. Verse 2 is gotten or formed from the explanation in verse 3 & 4. The father who called for the attention of his children to his instructions, explained that he too was his father's son.
