*DAILY DEW 24/APRIL/2023* *Receiving the Teachings of Your Pastor (X)* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."* (Matthew 28:20) _Bible Insight:_ Consider Jesus with His disciples: All their Christian education was from Jesus and they were to pass down the same without editing anything to the next generation. They were to observe and teach what their Pastor taught them, not what they heard on radio, watched on TV or read on Facebook. Consider Paul with Timothy: *"And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."* (2 Timothy 2:2) All that Timothy had leant was from Paul and now he was to transmit exactly the same to others. Timothy was enjoined to remain within the boundaries of the curriculum he received from his Pastor and teach the same things to his disciples and followers. Consider Paul at the feet of Gamaliel: *"I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day."* (Acts 22:3) Paul was tutored by Gamaliel and not Gamaliels. This is not to say you can't learn anything from others. What I'm saying is your major source of learning and growing must be clear cut. _MEDITATION:_ *"If you hate your math teacher you'll fail mathematics.
