*DAILY DEW 22/JANUARY/2023* *FURTHER WARNINGS CONCERNING THE LAST DAYS* (III) _Key Bible Text:_ *For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, BLASPHEMERS, DISOBEDIENT TO PARENTS, UNTHANKFUL, UNHOLY* (2 Timothy 3:2 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ There is a strong spirit of *blasphemy* holding sway on world people. Too much playing around and with sacred things. Calling of "Christ", or "God" name without any respect or good use, but as curse words. Use of sacred issues as comedy, etc. Playing with tongues and unnecessary laughing over very important issues about God or the church. This is yet another evidence of the spirit of the last days at work. Beware. Do not be a blasphemer. Disobedience to parents is alarmingly, seriously and quickly becoming the order of the day. Disregard to parental authority is at an all time high and worst still many parents are not even helping matters, as the family and marriage structure is in terribly bad shape in many homes. Some western society have even set in place legal frame work that make children claim rights to "disobedience" to parents. This is nothing but the spirit of end time at work. Ingratitude and a terrible high sense of entitlement is fast becoming the norm. Too many people laying claim to being self made. Too many people too quick to feel they deserve the good things that have come to them. Be careful and be thankful. You have been privileged and God have used men, young and old to extend his mercies towards you. Take time to be thankful to both God and men. And be intentional about it. Holiness is fast being dumped for happiness in this generation. In fact, many people have thrown the idea of holiness out of the window. It is no longer in vogue. Many now assume that God understands, even when they are premeditatedly doing the wrong things. God have mercy! It is time to repent and return to the pursuit of holiness and righteousness. God's righteous expectations have not changed one bit.
