Love doesn't strut, Doesn't have a swelled head, Doesn't force itself on others, Isn't always "me first," Doesn't fly off the handle, Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,"* (1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (The Message)) _Bible Insight:_ It becomes very difficult to stay angry, hold grudges or refuse to forgive people when you always want them to be saved, receive eternal life, and go to heaven. Like Christ on the Cross and Stephen as he was stoned, you find yourself saying "Father, forgive them." You do this, not because they have not been wicked to you. They have. ..but God has been so kind to you that their wickedness is nothing You do this, not because they have not wounded you. You do this because by His stripes you have been healed You do this not because they are not trying to kill you. They are, but you now have eternal life You become like this not because they are not saying evil things about you. They are, but the blood of Jesus is so much louder that it drowns every other voice, speaking better things concerning you. You become like this not because they have not taken things from you. They have, but what God has given you in Christ far outweighs all that, and no man can take it. You become a lover not because their behaviour is worth it; but because God loves them and sent Jesus to die for them, and that blood is very precious. You find yourself warring less against flesh and blood, and demonstrating how the Lord Christ made an open shew of principalities and powers, triumphing over them in it. You don't return evil with evil, but overcome evil with good. This is not a nursery rhyme, a soap opera, a barbie story or some nice theory. It is the reality of the most powerful force of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost; that we see in the kingdom of God. It can transform the worst criminal and vilest offender into a blessed child of God. _MEDITATION:_ *"Yes, it is very difficult to stay angry, hold grudges or refuse to forgive people when you carry the gospel of Jesus in your heart and mouth.
