The abuse on the female gender*
first and foremost, before we venture into the said topic above,it is most appropriate we get acquainted with the definition of the case study, therefore we break the terms in sub titles for better clarification.
What is abuse?
The word abuse is a verb used to denote the intentional act of treating someone with cruelty or violence, especially regularly or repeatedly. Its the act of causing someone harm or distress and it takes different forms ranging from non-violent to violent case scenario causing physical as well as mental pain.Abuse is not associated to any particular situation or environment,it can happen anywhere, from family, friends or colleagues.Often times the perpetrators of such crimes prey on the victims weakness and their special relationship with them The statistics of the highest abuses occur in the home, where by they can be hidden and not attended to reasons being because it is seen as a shameful act.Abusers make it their topmost priority to make sure victims have no access with other people to avoid being caught.
*Types of abuse*
in the course of this case study we would be evaluating four major forms of abuse.
1. Physical abuse
This type of abuse deals with physical show of strength , it includes punching, hitting, slapping, kicking, strangling or physically restraining a partner against their will. It is any action put in place to make someone feel Physically unsafe.
2. Sexual violence
It can be classed as a physical abuse but it's more broad than we know because it includes physical and non physical components. It can involve rape or other forced sexual acts or withholding or using sec as a weapon ,these are the physical aspects of sexual abuse, coming to the non-physical,a partner (abusive) might use sex as a means to judge their victim and assign value; in order words saying they aren't good enough for them or it's the only thing they are good at, bringing.dow. their self-esteem.
3. Verbal/ emotional abuse
The effects of verbal/ emotional abuse are harder to spot because here there is none physical contact, only word to word statement which are heartbreaking, spirit killing and awful. They are sure to create emotional scars which often are hard to heal. You make your victim doubt their own sanity.
4. Financial abuse
This is the abuse that has to do with financial restirction t to victims of abuse by abuser, even when money belongs to the abuser, fraud
Now coming down to business and the major concern of the case study which is the female gender abuse.
Over time it has been made known to all that the female gender is the weaker amongst the two, thereby giving the feminine counterpart the position of being the most submissive and obedient gender. This stereotype given to the female gender has in a way encouraged the abuse of this particular gender which is now very rampant, sometimes not even seen or taken as an offence but seen as a way of discipline. Female gender abuse cumulates to all actions geared physically , emotionally or otherwise towards the female gender which is against their fundamental human rights, cruel and violent. Most cases of such abuse ends up totally destroying the mental health of the woman or in severe cases death. This is only a tip of the ice berg of what I am about to unfold concerning this matter. In our next article we would talk intensively on it with true life story experiences attached.

MENTAL HEALTH 1
This is me waking up one day and telling myself "Sweery, you need to get up and shake of this bad energy...you look sick".😩
As we all know, Nigeria faced a great deal of crisis after the tragedy of 20th October hit us all. A lot has been going around, anxiety and fear has been created in the minds of people, many more launched into depression and slowly everyone forgot a glimpse of hope.
So, let me just ask you..."Have you been mentally stable lately?"
Most likely, the answer is No.
With all the pressures from the media and the silence of the government, we have all dwindled into anger, sadness, murmuring, bickering and unnecessary "drags". All of this activity has proven to be unhealthy for our minds when we constantly unleash our anger on things not worth it and can't differentiate between right and wrong, feasible and non feasible, lies and truth. Some of this habits slowly sink deep into our systems, thoughts and mode of operation; we hardly do anything else than feed our minds with this contents and develop addictive attachments to wanting to know everything and anything (which of course wasn't the usual routine).
Honestly, you can't really know the state ofyour mental health if you can't spot the difference.
What do I mean?
You can only tell that things have changed and you are getting more stressed mentally than you ought to be, when you already know how your mind works and the things that positively and negatively affect it.
So, how do we stay fit mentally?
Learn to sieve your contents. Avoid things in general that will keep you thinking (brain storming like you want to pass a quizðŸ˜).
Slow down or completely cut off social media (or best still stay away from groups or persons that initiates discussions or arguments that will lead to no where and get you more confused for no reason).
Stand on verified information (it's a solid foundation for good judgements and opinions) and avoid commenting on every newsline or post or gist(self control comes in). Feed your mind positive/inspiring thoughts♥ï¸(engaging in positive activities would be of help).
Your mental health and stability should be priority and as such, every bad energy that comes your way.."Start your ignition honey and zoom zoom zoom!"😎
