*DAILY DEW 9/FEBRUARY/2023* *THE DEMANDS OF CONSECRATION* (II) _Key Bible Text:_ *"I AM CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST: NEVERTHELESS I LIVE; YET NOT I, BUT CHRIST LIVETH IN ME: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."* (Galatians 2:20 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ I sat beside this woman carrying a sick looking child in the bus and with looks of despondency and rejection, she began making a call to someone. She was pleading with the person to borrow her a certain amount of money which was half of her monthly salary to feed her family and treat her child. This was ending of last year. The Holy Spirit prompted me to ask her what was the amount she was trying to borrow (half of her salary) and to my shock it was the very and the exact amount I had there with me. Then the Spirit went ahead to tell me to release that very amount to her which I had planned to use it to purchase certain vitals for my home and as I did, the woman's countenance seemed like the very transitioning between night and day; it was all bright now. It was a painful sacrifice to me but it did serve a divine purpose. I realized that the Consecrated man no longer has the final say over his time, talent and his treasures. They are all the Lord's. The call to Consecration is the Call to death to the self life. The consecrated man releases to the Lord whatever he bids him to. Hearing God is one thing and acting on what you heard is another thing. The consecrated man both hears and acts. Even if he builds an empire in time, any day the Holy One of Israel says, "hand it over", that is the day he parts with that earthly possession. *He has not only conquered greed but has also conquered attachment to the mundane. If He bids us to the plough, there we go and labour in His vineyard, If He bids us to the altar, there we go and are burnt as living Sacrifices.* _MEDITATION:_ *"It is time beloved, It is time to Consecrate ourselves and become living Sacrifices to God alone. *DAILY DEW 5/FEBRUARY/2023* *THE DEMANDS OF CONSECRATION* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out!"* (Proverbs 20:5) _Bible Insight:_ I met this man of God at a Prayer camp in Abuja and while talking with him he told me how Satan nearly destroyed him. Against his consecration, he once allowed a committed sister in his ministry to visit his house.He was alone that day. The girl had told him it was an emergency, a case of life and death so he allowed her come home. Immediately she entered his parlour and realized he was home alone, she stripped off her clothes (stark naked), locked the door, took the key and demanded sex from the man. The man got offended and tried to rebuke her but she threatened him that she will shout. The man of God started begging her but she said "NO". She said he had always waited for a day like that to come. The man got confused, but Prayed quietly in his spirit, and the Holy Ghost whispered to him. The Spirit of God asked him to enter the toilet and he ran in there immediately and shut the toilet door. From the toilet window he saw a neighbor passing and had to call out to the neighbor and explained his dilemma. The neighbor knocked on the main parlour door that was locked by this Jezebel and she didn't know the man of God had already told the neighbor so she opened the door and the neighbor used a "necessary slap" to call the agent of darkness to order. That was how the man got delivered from that hellish trap that could have destroyed his name and ministry. After the man of God personally shared this ordeal with me, I became scared and vowed a vow of watchfulness forever. Dear minister of the Gospel and Believers, Don't loosen your consecration because of emergencies. I have heard of people who fell into sexual sins because someone was crying and wiping the persons tears through compassion they got driven into unholy passion. Don't lose your guard, Satan sets traps in all corners so just be watchful. Never ever allow yourself to be in a corner with an opposite sex. Don't trust your self or even your anointing. Anointing cannot help you, it failed Samson. Just flee or Set Standards that will help your life.End unnecessary closeness with the opposite sex, whether you're married or not. _MEDITATION:_ *"May unwatchfulness not cause Jezebel to hijack your Mantle. *DAILY DEW 26/JANUARY/2023* *BECOMING ETERNALLY CONSCIOUS* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom."* (Psalms 90:12) _Bible Insight:_ That Anointing that can gather crowd but cannot depopulate hell is like a castrated giant; the big man is good for nothing. The financial outpourings that heaven brings your way that ends up in beer parlours and on lavish living is a complete waste of divine resources... The beautiful face and the handsome look that doesn't prioritise Christ and His kingdom on earth is a beautiful nonsense; there is no glory in that life... Pursuing earthly goals without pushing the Gospel is a waste of breathe... When the chips are down, we will all realize that many were chasing ephemerals instead of chasing the Eternal and for that reason many souls are lost. Beloved, It is time... It is Time to Consecrate our 3T's It is Time to Consecrate our Time to God, It is Time to Consecrate our Talents to God, It is Time to Consecrate our Treasures to God... Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:"* (Matthew 7:22-24 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ The hosts of hell doesn’t respect our empty speaking in tongues and charismatic excesses that is done without true alignment to God... They will only respect authentic fire which is measured by sincere obedience to God and a wholesome Consecration to the leadings of the Spirit of God. True spiritual fire is not measured by how loud you shouted “fire” during those night vigils, true fire is not measured by how soaked your clothes get whenever you’re Praying. True fire is not measured by how long you lasted while Praying in that revival meeting... True fire begins with entering into the reality of a wholesome Consecration to the Father of all spirits... *DAILY DEW 30/NOVEMBER/2022* *THE POWER OF PRAYER!* _Key Bible Text:_ *"And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren."* (Luke 22:31-32 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ When Father Nash learned of a bar owner who was causing a good deal of trouble for the Christians in the community, he wrote the man’s name down on his Prayer list as a “hard case.” The bar owner was known to accost and abuse those he knew to be Christians with the most abusive and foul language. His bar had a reputation for entertaining people who engaged in drunkenness and profane revelry. A few days later, Nash pressed on, being called to another area to pray. Not long afterward, this “hard case” showed up at one of Charles Finney's meetings. His appearance caused considerable commotion, but as he caused no trouble when he entered, Charles left him alone, though he felt obliged to keep an eye on him throughout the service. As the meeting progressed, Charles sensed that the man was uneasy; he fidgeted constantly in his seat. Finally, he arose and asked if he could speak. When Charles gave him permission to do so, he poured himself out in brokenhearted repentance before those who had gathered. It was incredibly moving for everyone there, and many whose hearts had been hardened against what Charles had been preaching found themselves broken before God as well. Within a short time, the man made his peace with God and closed his bar to the debauchery that had formerly been prevalent in it.
