*DAILY DEW 19/DECEMBER/2023* *Levels of Taking Over Nations* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted."* (Galatians 6:1 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Let's talk about the seven levels of taking over nations. These can also be seen as types of taking over nations. To take over, means, to take control or to wield influence over. These levels or types of taking over nations are not in any particular order. However we shall attempt to begin from the most basic. 1. Correcting others. To correct is a serious matter. And is not always easy. Honestly, even being too quick to correct can also be a problem but not correcting at all is even a bigger problem too. In correcting others, a couple of factors must be considered:- 1. Reason of correction-- is it a wrong by Christian standards or just a wrong from moral standards? 2. Who you are correcting- are you correcting a believer or an unbeliever 3. How you are correcting- are you correcting out of hate or love, or to prove a point or for the good of the person and others? 4. The age of the person you are correcting-- you can't correct an elderly person the same way you correct your subordinate or someone you are older than. 5. Why are you correcting the person- yes, this looks like it's not necessary but it is. You can correct for the wrong reasons too. Trying to shame and humiliate is a very wrong reason for correcting. Motive matters. 6. When and where are you correcting the person-- there is time and a place for everything. Consider the timing. Somethings should be corrected immediately, others can be delayed till a better time. A person speaking rudely to an adult should be corrected immediately but a brother shabily dressed or looking unkept may be corrected away from the eyes of the audience. _MEDITATION:_ *"As the one correcting, understanding all the above is key. It is not enough to point out wrongs or try to show others how to be better. We can be wrong in the way we correct others. *DAILY DEW 18/DECEMBER/2023* *Taking Over Nations* (X) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. THE ZEAL OF THE LORD OF HOSTS WILL PERFORM THIS."* (Isaiah 9:7 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Force of fervency/passion. A man is nothing but the sum total of his passions and the things he is zealous about. A man who can take over Nations forcefully must be one whose passion or zeal is to impact His world with the knowledge of God and the will of God. This singular passion must overide every other thing the man does and must be the reason he does what he does and how he does what he does. You cannot take over the world with the word of God if all you care about (or passionate about) is to entertain or to make money or be famous or to be rich or to marry, have children and educate them and build fine houses while riding latest cars. *DAILY DEW 17/DECEMBER/2023* *Taking Over Nations* (IX) _Key Bible Text:_ *"But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."* (James 1:4 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Another force that is required if we must take over nations, is the force of patience, perseverance and long suffering. There can be no lasting impact that will influence your world without these trio. Patience will teach you not to expect fast response when someone you are hoping to win over is proving difficult. Perseverance will teach you to keep forgiving and loving someone who needs your guidance but acts like you are a nobody. Longsuffering will keep you going, when all efforts seems wasted and all years of labour of love seem fruitless or slow in bringing results. *DAILY DEW 16/DECEMBER/2023* *Taking Over Nations* (VIII) _Key Bible Text:_ *"Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God."* (Colossians 4:12 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Taking over nations is not a carnal activity like carrying out a military coup. This is spiritual and deal with spiritual forces and principles. To take over nations, we must engage the force of prayer. We cannot take over, wield control, or advance positive changes without the intervention of God's hands and power. God who controls a river's flows and directions can also influence and impress upon the minds of people or even an entire system or control. The force of prayer is a powerful tool that brings this overriding moves or operations of God into reality. When we pray, we make power available. And when power is available, human minds bends in response to the one who have secured this presence of God that changes things and people supernaturally. One of the greatest secrets of taking over nations remains the secret place. *DAILY DEW 15/DECEMBER/2023* *Taking Over Nations* (VII) _Key Bible Text:_ *"And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing."* (1 Corinthians 13:3 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ To take over nations, the force of charity or love and compassion cannot be overemphasized. You cannot take over, or wield influence if you don't have and apply love. Many people will never achieve the level of impact God have destined to all because of their inability to walk in love without inhibitions and hesitations.. The love Ruth showed towards Naomi and her God, was the key or central to Ruth's fulfillment of purpose. The Love that David showed towards God and God's people, was first revealed in his diligence and willingness to fight a bear and a lion all because of his Father's sheep that was kept in his custody. God recognized his heart of love and called him, a man after God's own heart! Jesus is the greatest example of love of all times.
