*DAILY DEW 25/JANUARY/2024* Divine Presence _Key Bible Text:_ *"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me."* (John 15:4 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ You cannot have his presence and be defeated in life. Divine presence brings divine productivity, protection and all round prosperity. 3 levels of divine presence: 1. Omni presence. God is present everywhere at every time. 2. Manifest presence- the presence of God that causes awe and wonder. 3. Mobile presence-- Carriable presence of God that abides with individuals. At this level, the individual has built a solid friendship and communion with the Holy Spirit. Anointing is not the biggest issue. Divine presence is the issue. The presence of God is what really matters. Saul was anointed but only abided in God's presence for 2 years. *DAILY DEW 24/JANUARY/2024* Divine Guidance (The End) _Key Bible Text:_ *"I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."* (Psalms 32:8 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Our God is a teaching God. Our God is an instructing God. And God is a guiding God. The problem has never been with God. You and I, are the problem when it comes to divine guidance. Two key points that brings out the taste of divine guidance are as follows: The first is choosing to be a Mary over choosing to be a Martha. What this means is that, we must prioritize the word of God. Your ability to receive divine guidance is depending on your attitude and relationship towards the written word. God's word as expressed in the Bible must become our go-to book! We would be hypocrites to ask God to speak to us, but we can't spare some time to read or study His word! Secondly, be a David and not a Saul. Saul would rather obey men than God, but David would rather displease his wife (men) and please God. *DAILY DEW 23/JANUARY/2024* Divine Guidance 7 _Key Bible Text:_ *"Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart."* (Psalms 32:11 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ To secure divine guidance, you must also practice being content or delighted in God. Finding God exciting and fulfilling qualifies you for divine guidance. When you delight in God, God also delights in you. Because of His delight towards you, God releases his secrets and extra information to you. Being glad in the Lord must translate to enjoying and seeking God's presence. This must in turn mean making time to fellowship with God both personally and with the brethren. *DAILY DEW 22/JANUARY/2024* Divine Guidance 6 _Key Bible Text:_ *"Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about."* (Psalms 32:10 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ To secure divine guidance, you must always practice trusting in God. You qualify for divine guidance when you practice trusting in God in all things & at all times. Indeed, those who trust in God, signal to heaven that they are ready to be led. *DAILY DEW 21/JANUARY/2024* Divine Guidance 5 _Key Bible Text:_ *"Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee."* (Psalms 32:9 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ To secure divine guidance, you must desist from talking too much or uncontrollably. Refrain from always trying to share the little you know. Humility shown in self retraint is the signal that tells God that you are ready for divine guidance. You cannot always be full of words to share and be able to hear God's voice when he speaks. Worst still, you will be too busy talking and sharing that you will not seek God's guidance nor perceive when he sends one even "unsolictedly". Your ability to tame your tongue and resist the urge to share even if you know, will strategically position you to learn and receive more. And in the process, divine guidance comes along too. Don't be a tongue- trigger happy teacher. Be a happy-to-listen student. One more thing, practice listening prayer. Don't pray by always talking. Pray by also listening. For prayer is a two way communication exercise.
