(NIV) Proverbs 11:3 Honesty guides good people; dishonesty destroys treacherous people. (NLT) Integrity is in short supply these days. Integrity can be described as an endangered habit or attribute. Many no longer think highly of it. Some of those who do, only pay lip service to it. They speak well of it but conveniently do the contrary. Yet, God who does not change, calls on the upright to be guided by integrity. And God still warns that dishonesty or lack of integrity will destroy. *DAILY DEW 26/JULY/2024* *PRIDE* _Key Bible Text:_ *When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.* (Proverbs 11:2 (KJV)) _Bible Insight_ Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. (NIV) Pursue humility. Eschew pride. Pride will lead to disgrace. It is just a matter of time. Wisdom comes from humility. Practice humility. Use every opportunity to master humility. Certain opportunities are more humility boosting than others. When you are maltreated or unjustly accused: Humility can be practiced by not taking it personal. Make excuses for the offender and take initiative to resolve the matter amicably. When you have been insulted: this is another perfect opportunity to handle the situation calmly and graciously. This is a way to boost your humility. Ignore certain disrespect or at least never take it personally. Don't let your position or status become a big deal. *DAILY DEW 23/JULY/2024* *Bring Forth Wisdom* _Key Bible Text:_ *The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.* (Proverbs 10:31 (KJV) _Bible Insight_ Proverbs 10:31 (BBE) The mouth of the upright man is budding with wisdom, but the twisted tongue will be cut off. Bring forth wisdom so that men do not cut you out, cancel you or delist you from their list of options. Men need guidance and direction. Men need a source of strength and light. Men need resource persons. Be a person that can bring that necessary wisdom. Let your words bring wisdom. Take time to build the right content and mindset so that when you speak, light and life will springforth.
