Psalms 34:17 (KJV) _Bible Insight_ Your tears matters to God. Why do some say "God is not moved by your tears!"? God feels for us when we come to him genuinely heart wrenched and broken and all tears! Don't allow any naysayers convince you otherwise. The God who gave us the emotion cannot ignore the emotion when it is rightly used. Yes! What God is after is your heart that is truly contrite and broken. Your tears do not move God if (and the only if I can think of) you are only pretending to be teary because he knows when it is all show and no go! When you are truly and deeply in tears and for the right reasons, God sees it and takes note. If you are already in His will, note that you can't use them tears to change them. Marriage is a case of "as you make your bed, so you lie on it." And the bed making begins long before the marriage is made. If you don't take time, to build character, good sense, virtues, and patience long before you speak of marriage, you will have more work to do than is necessary in the marriage. Granted! This sort of bed making, is not limited to the female gender. However, today's focus from the passage before us is on the woman/wife. And quite frankly, the wife's role is so critical. She comes with so much uniqueness. Same is true for the husband to be. Each partner must gather sense, character and virtue while still single. But if you live right, you will be as secure as a tree with deep roots."* Proverbs 12:3 (CEV) . Sin cannot offer security. Wickedness cannot be better than righteousness. Short cuts cannot lead you to great heights of success. In a more relatable expression, academic excellence achieved through hard work and diligence surpasses any success gained through examination malpractice. Business boom achieved by shortcuts, corruption, deceits and unfair practices cannot compare with business breakthrough achieved through consistent good ethics and hard work. Career success achieved through compromise and unhealthy relationships or corrupt connections cannot equate or surpass career success achieved through competence and diligence. These few examples conveys the message. *DAILY DEW 14/SEPTEMBER/2024* *The God that condems* _Key Bible Text:_ *A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.* Proverbs 12:2 (KJV) _Bible Insight_ *"A good man has grace in the eyes of the Lord; but the man of evil designs gets punishment from him."* (Proverbs 12:2 (BBE)) It is high time that this generation is reminded that the God of love, grace, mercy and forgiveness is also the God that is a consuming fire and the God that condemns the consistently unrepentant. A good man finds grace in the eyes of God but a man of evil designs, that is, evil inventions and actions will receive condemnation. Be rest assured that "Daddy wey dey pamper" is sin intolerant and sin sensitive. Be sure that he does not look away when men continue in wickedness and unrepentance. God will not turn a blind eye to this generation's sins, which are worse than those of Sodom and Gomorrah, simply because they have experienced His grace.
