*DAILY DEW 6/NOVEMBER/2022* *THE PROMISE OF GOD* _Key Bible Text:_ *"He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform."* (Romans 4:20,21) _Bible Insight:_ 1) He staggered not. God's promise(s) can be so huge, so dramatic, so "out-of-this-worldly", that one can literally stagger in the face of it. But Abraham staggered not. Chinaza (put your own name), stagger not. 2) How does one stagger? Through unbelief. If there's any bankable entity in the whole of existence, it's God - God and His words, His promises. And you'll place a limitation on how far you can go and how quickly you'll get there when your response to Him is unbelief. Do the opposite, believe Him. 3) Be strong in faith, give glory to God. Believe God, believe His words, accept His promises as a done deal. Then proceed to thank Him. Send all the glory, credit, worship, gratitude you have in your heart to Him. Thank Him for remembering you, for caring for you, for seeking you out, for keeping you, for being for you. Thank Him specifically for the promise(s) He just made you. 4) Be fully persuaded, convinced, that He is able to fulfill His promise(s). _MEDITATION:_ *"God doesn't make empty promises. *DAILY DEW 5/NOVEMBER/2022* *DON'T ALLOW SATAN TO CHEAT YOU* _Key Bible Text:_ *"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."* (Romans 12:2 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ While heading to Enugu for a Program, a beautiful young girl sat beside me in the sienna car and she was enjoying the sound tracks the driver was playing. The driver was playing a complete album of one of Nigeria's secular artistes and I noticed how the girl sang all the songs accurately. Her brain had downloaded all the lyrics of that album. So we got to a place where I engaged the young girl in a conversation. I asked her if she was a Christian and she said, Yes. I asked her if she could recite one chapter each from the books of the new testament she smiled and said she couldn't... I went further to tell her that I will give her 5,000 Naira if she could recite one chapter each from the books of the New Testament. She tried and couldn't get one. I mean she couldn't get one, not even John 3:16... I told her OK, recite only 3 verses from the new testament and the money will be yours. She still failed and she became totally ashamed of herself. I began talking to her about her urgent need for salvation... Now, The problem was not her brain. A brain that can recite all the lyrics of a babylonian song album can recite the entire New Testament if the owner of the brain trained the brain to do so just like the brain was trained to learn those songs. Many of you don't know how to memorize scriptures but the same brain knows all Celine Dion and Burna Boy music lyrics. Keep deceiving yourself... The day Satan came to tempt Jesus, he used the scriptures he memorized to challenge Satan. The day Satan will come for you, maybe it is Celine Dions lyrics that will save you. It is time. It is time to Repent from ALL foolishness. You have been allowing Satan cheat you for too long. *DAILY DEW 3/NOVEMBER/2022* *THE SCROLL AND HOW TO FIND DESTINY* _Key Bible Text:_ *"And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written* (Luke 4:16-17 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ After Praying and Fasting on the mount, Jesus found His divine destiny and understood his assignment while he was reading the Prophecy of Isaiah according to Luke 4:17-18. "And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. AND WHEN HE OPENED THE BOOK, HE FOUND the place where it was written" Luke 4:17. If you keep failing to open that book called Bible, you will never find the scroll of your destiny. This is not a joke. Jesus found His in the Word, yours is there too. There is something God is saying about why you're on earth... Go and open the book daily and one day you shall find it. Anything that hinders your time with the Word and Prayer is hindering your access to divine destiny. To find divine destiny is simple; Develop a vibrant Prayer life and search the scriptures daily and you shall find. He that seeketh findeth. *DAILY DEW 1/NOVEMBER/2022* *A Happy Ending* _Key Bible Text:_ *"So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ."* (1 Corinthians 1:7-8 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ There can be so much progress in your walk with God, that there will be no missing blessing or goodness in your life. As you observe that God's blessings are abounding towards you & others especially, remember to thank God. It is important to see how Paul mentioned that they are *waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ* even as they are not lacking or coming behind in any gifting or blessing. It is therefore important to always remember our waiting for the Lord Jesus Christ even in our state of progress spiritually and otherwise. This world is not the ultimate. It is a transient stage. Here in this world, the progress do not last, likewise the challenges. Only our spiritual advancement counts beyond this world. Hence as we wait for the Lord's coming, may we remember to do those things that will bring us boldness and confidence when Christ finally turns up! *"Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ."* We are not alone in our waiting for Christ. He is with us and will confirm or preserve us to the very end, whenever that end will be! God is committed to keep us, even as we stay committed to him too.
