She is gentle, respectful, wise, teachable, humble, forgiving, hardworking, and a goal getter. Think of Abigail, whose husband Nabal was a direct opposite. Think of Esther. Think of Ruth. (The Message) Proverbs 11:15 He who makes himself responsible for a strange man will undergo much loss; but the hater of such undertakings will be safe. (BBE) Proverbs 11:15 It's a dangerous thing to guarantee payment for someone's debts. Don't do it! (CEV) Being cautious and safety sensitive is needful. In a world of many ills and wicked hearts and acts, it is your responsibility to limit how much exposures you already have to deal with. Proverbs 11:15 counsels us to avoid making ourselves responsible for strangers. Don't be too quick to commit yourself to bail out people.
