MENTAL HEALTH 1
This is me waking up one day and telling myself "Sweery, you need to get up and shake of this bad energy...you look sick".😩
As we all know, Nigeria faced a great deal of crisis after the tragedy of 20th October hit us all. A lot has been going around, anxiety and fear has been created in the minds of people, many more launched into depression and slowly everyone forgot a glimpse of hope.
So, let me just ask you..."Have you been mentally stable lately?"
Most likely, the answer is No.
With all the pressures from the media and the silence of the government, we have all dwindled into anger, sadness, murmuring, bickering and unnecessary "drags". All of this activity has proven to be unhealthy for our minds when we constantly unleash our anger on things not worth it and can't differentiate between right and wrong, feasible and non feasible, lies and truth. Some of this habits slowly sink deep into our systems, thoughts and mode of operation; we hardly do anything else than feed our minds with this contents and develop addictive attachments to wanting to know everything and anything (which of course wasn't the usual routine).
Honestly, you can't really know the state ofyour mental health if you can't spot the difference.
What do I mean?
You can only tell that things have changed and you are getting more stressed mentally than you ought to be, when you already know how your mind works and the things that positively and negatively affect it.
So, how do we stay fit mentally?
Learn to sieve your contents. Avoid things in general that will keep you thinking (brain storming like you want to pass a quizðŸ˜).
Slow down or completely cut off social media (or best still stay away from groups or persons that initiates discussions or arguments that will lead to no where and get you more confused for no reason).
Stand on verified information (it's a solid foundation for good judgements and opinions) and avoid commenting on every newsline or post or gist(self control comes in). Feed your mind positive/inspiring thoughts♥ï¸(engaging in positive activities would be of help).
Your mental health and stability should be priority and as such, every bad energy that comes your way.."Start your ignition honey and zoom zoom zoom!"😎

SAYING YES!!
We all like to think that "saying no" is what most people or better still, we, find hard to do.
Allow me to shock you..
In as much saying no to most things we say yes to is something we all should learn to do, understand that saying yes to some certain things we ignore would automatically settle the problem of having to learn to day no or resist those things.
Let's say, you do not want to continue that relationship but you keep falling each time he makes more promises even though you know it's not really for "yourself" but just to "make him happy".
Now, instead of trying so hard to say No and watching yourself suffer why not learn to say YES to the fact that, Baby girl, you need to have a life. You are entitled to have a choice and dream of your own. You ought notto loose yourself at the expense of someone else. You deserve better and that better is not in your current position.
And the "Truth shall set you free.."
When you realize that saying yes to things you denied yourself is the real no you've been wanting to say so badly then saying no won't be a big deal afterall!
So, everyone let's not overlook the importance of saying YES and let's remember that saying yes is not just a word but acknowledging and accepting the truth of things as they are🙂
Say YES today!
(PS: don't mind the video😌..just listen to the words or better still read the write up)
Thank you ♥ï¸

WELL BEING
Sometimes our definition of well being is being limited to things we feel are more relevant like our physical or bodily health, financial stability, spiritual growth and others, but we forget that that doesn't create balance in our total and complete well being.
We should understand that no part functions without the other, just as the body can't function without the heart, and we should try to gain 360° wholeness: physically, emotionally, psychologically, mentally, spiritually and financially.
Identifying and accepting a fault in this state of our well being brings us one step closer to getting solutions. So, do not ignore them and wrap it up under "Men should be men..we don't feel or express or seek help or take corrections", "Women should cover, take it all in and accept their fates in circumstances they find themselves in"..
Stop the facades!
Focus on a complete, balance, healthy well being today even if it means taking a break, letting go and moving on.
You are very important to us and to the world..🙂

TAKING REAL OPPORTUNITIES
Many lie to themselves that real opportunities come when everything we believe we ever needed to succeed are in place and at our disposal. This has made so many young minds to grow weary and many strong bones to grow weak.
Nigeria @60 should be a wake up call to our youths...
The sooner we realize that real opportunities come when we utilize what we have within our reach at the moment to give ourselves a better advantage over others or to move ourselves forward, then the bigger picture begins to unveil.
Stop waiting for favourable conditions to arrive at your doorsteps, for there can never be an end to the issues in the world; rather go get yourself a favourable condition and by getting yourself that condition it means you need a whole lot of optimism, patience, hardwork and pesevervance.
So, quit complaining and playing the blame game and take up real opportunities of self discovery, improvement, development, discipline and skill utilization today.
Let's make #nigeria great again!✊..
TRUE COLOURS
What comes to our minds when we hear someone say" I go show you my true colours oo cause this isn't my real colour"
Why are true colours always associated with negative sides or characters?
Well, I'd like us to have a change of mind on that.
True colours shouldn't be those sides people never expect from us and we think is best shown at our worst moments.
We all have different personalities and shades but that doesn't make them count as our true colours as long as it doesn't bring out the best in us.
True colours are meant to be beautiful like the rainbow and spark life and there are many ways to identify and embrace these true colours:
1.It could mean being bold and fearless
2.Stepping out from your usual, stationary zone
3.Chasing dreams you long lost or kept aside
4.Being optimistic and hopeful
5.Exhbiting healthy attitudes and fruits of the spirit if put biblically
6.Staying true to yourself and others at all points
I choose to relate my true colours with positive attributes, so can you.â¤ï¸

Be joyful in Hope
Be patient in Affliction
Be faithful in Prayer
Live in Peace
Stay Humble
Pratice Hospitality..
(Romans 12: 29-17)
Lets see beneath your "beautiful"
Let's see beneath your "perfect"
Take it off and let's see the "inside"
It's alright to drop all those weights..
It doesn't hurt to step out bare sometimes; not at all.
Reality is better than a glorified illusion and worse off the ones we fail to tell ourselves or don't allow ourselves feel or accept.
Let's embrace truth and therefore flood ourselves with inner light and peace...
