Taking care of kids is one of the most noble things I’ve ever done. It’s not just a role—it’s a calling that pulls you in, heart and soul. As days go by, I'm privileged to nurture these tiny humans from new born till they grow into people who’ll make a difference, and that feels like a gift I didn’t know I could give.
It’s not easy, though, I’ll be honest—some days are exhausting. The sleepless nights, the endless questions, the moments you wonder if you’re doing it right? They’re real. But then you see that spark in their eyes when they figure something out or when they hug you just because...
That’s when I know it’s worth it, I know that I'm not just raising kids; I'm planting seeds for a better future, even if I don’t see the full bloom for years.
What gets me is how this work doesn’t always get the praise it deserves. The society overlooks caregivers, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Every time I help a child feel seen or loved, I’m part of something bigger.
It’s a quiet kind of noble, but it’s the kind that changes the world, one kid at a time.
Happy First Sunday Umu Oma!😁..
'At that point when you know love exists, but you find it hard to tell of who it consists.
It's usually painful because you find out when it's already late,
and you might not have much of it to taste;
that's when you'll be filled with regrets.'
~Avalon.
In a world where true love feels almost extinct, this poem by my friend echoes the pain of recognizing love too late.
Born from his regret of unspoken feelings that faded, it’s an urge to young hearts: be brave, seize the moment, and let love flourish before it becomes a bittersweet memory.
Happy New Month beautiful people.🤩❤️..
