The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.* (James 5:16 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ If you are trusting God for healing, asides from praying, there are three things you should do: 1. Forgive offences. Even though you can be healed even when in unforgiveness, it is a door that will open a man up to demonic attacks. And it has the potential to hinder faith. 2. Keep your focus on the Word of God, especially as pertaining to healing. Stop paying attention to your condition. Satan is an attention seeker! Faith or doubt is fed through focus. And it takes faith to possess your healing. 3. Hang around people who believe in healing. Their faith is contagious, and they carry an atmosphere for healing. You don't want to be around people who talk down on healing or the miraculous.
