David Joshua Egbochuo  11th March, 2025

*DAILY DEW 9/MARCH/2025* *I GO A FISHING* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing."* (John 21:3 (KJV)) _Bible Insight_ _Returning to Familiar Patterns_ After Jesus' resurrection, Peter and the other disciples were struggling to understand their new reality. Peter, in particular, seemed to be reverting to his old ways, saying "I go a fishing." This statement indicates that Peter was returning to his familiar pattern of life before meeting Jesus, which was fishing. This behavior shows that Peter was uncertain about his future and was falling back on what he knew best. _Following Without a Clear Direction_ The other disciples followed Peter without questioning his decision, indicating that they were also uncertain about their direction. They went fishing with Peter, but their efforts were unsuccessful, as they "caught nothing." This outcome suggests that when we follow our own plans and desires without seeking God's guidance, we can end up empty-handed and unfulfilled. _Lesson on Following God's Plan_ This verse teaches us that we should not rely solely on our own understanding and plans. Instead, we should seek God's guidance and direction, even when we are uncertain about our future. Peter's experience shows that when we follow our own ways, we can end up with nothing. However, when we follow God's plan, we can experience abundance and fulfillment, as seen in the miraculous catch of fish that followed in John 21:4-6. _MEDITATION:_ *When we follow our own plans and desires without seeking God's guidance, we can end up empty-handed and unfulfilled!* *#DavidJoshuaEgbochuo* *#Mr_Positive_Impact* *#Daily_Wisdom_for_living* *#Becoming_More_Like_Jesus* *#The_Rise_of_An_Army* *#Daily_Dew_Devotional* *#Hello_MARCH,2025* ❤ *Telegram Group:* https://t.me/joinchat/NzXQlVc9Hx7LfaRSnh9fHg Feel Free to Share with Friends.
