David Joshua Egbochuo  4th February, 2025

*DAILY DEW 3/FEBRUARY/2025* *JOY IS COMING & IT IS HERE* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.."* (John 16: 20 (KJV)) _Bible Insight_ Jesus' statement in John 16:20 highlights the contrast between the disciples' emotional experience and that of the world. He tells them that they will weep and lament, implying a deep sense of sorrow and grief. This is likely a reference to the disciples' emotional response to Jesus' impending death and departure. In contrast, Jesus notes that the world will rejoice. This is because the world sees Jesus' death as a victory over a perceived threat to their power and status. The world's rejoicing, however, is short-sighted and misguided, as it fails to recognize the true significance of Jesus' death and resurrection. Despite the disciples' sorrow, Jesus promises that it will be turned into joy. This is a profound statement, as it highlights the transformative power of Jesus' death and resurrection. The disciples' sorrow will be replaced with joy when they understand the true nature of Jesus' mission and the victory He has achieved over sin and death. The lesson from this verse is that believers can experience profound joy even in the midst of sorrow and adversity. This is because our hope is not based on temporal circumstances, but on the eternal promises of God. As we walk through difficult times, we can trust that God is working to transform our sorrow into joy, just as He did for the disciples through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. _MEDITATION:_ *Matthew 5:4 Blessed [are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.* *#DavidJoshuaEgbochuo* *#Mr_Positive_Impact* *#Daily_Wisdom_for_living* *#Becoming_More_Like_Jesus* *#The_Rise_of_An_Army* *#Daily_Dew_Devotional* *#Hello_FEBRUARY,2025* ❤ *Telegram Group:* https://t.me/joinchat/NzXQlVc9Hx7LfaRSnh9fHg Feel Free to Share with Friends.
