*DAILY DEW 2/DECEMBER/2024* *It is still His Final Instructions* _Key Bible Text:_ *"And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."* Luke 24:46-47 (KJV) _Bible Insight_ As the year runs out, businesses and individuals are forced to check their records and reports to see how they have fared in the year. It is not just a custom. It is a practice rooted in wisdom. When this is done properly, you get the benefit of hindsight, insight and foresight of how to run the succeeding year better. In like manner, at the close of his ministry on earth as a man, Jesus gave a final instruction that summed up the essence of His work on earth. These instructions when carried out give meaning to the purpose of the birth, suffering, crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. As we close the year, take a critical look at this all important instruction- "that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations".
