The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.* Proverbs 11:29-30 (KJV) _Bible Insight_ *" ... the foolish shall be servant to the wise of heart. The fruit of the [uncompromisingly] righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise captures human lives [for God, as a fisher of men--he gathers and receives them for eternity]."* (Proverbs 11:29-30 Amplified Bible) The wise. They rule over foolish. The fool. He serves the wise. That's easy to say. But who is wise and how are they to be identified? A lot of things can show a wise person. A wise person when rebuked, takes correction, amends their ways and gets better. A foolish person hates to be corrected. They stubbornly remain unchanged and undisturbed even when their lives aren't going right. But another way to know a wise person is that, they are bent on getting it right in life with God and helping others get it right with God. A wise person fears and seeks to know the Lord more. A wise person also seeks to make the Lord known.
